Dont know if this has been talked about.

But i am at the toyota dealership and saw these on display at the parts department. I kinda like how it looks better than what it comes with.

Would you guys do take these other than what came standard?

lickitysplit 10-31-2013 11:31 AM

Those came on my car. I'm the only one in Texas I've seen with them. Kinda nice to be a little different.

Alain 10-31-2013 11:36 AM

Id trade my stock wheels for them if they let me.

Mine was an optional extra, which I rolled into a deal since they were already on my car.

Trackspeed_Nick 10-31-2013 11:46 AM

I painted mine black w/ gloss clear duplicolor wheel paint and they look pretty similar.

FR-Shadow 10-31-2013 02:53 PM

Wow, I would love those. they were not an option a year ago at my dealership thats for sure.

Obja 10-31-2013 03:10 PM

I love it!

I have no problem with the stock rims it's just that everyone has them :p

Tt3Sheppard 10-31-2013 03:17 PM

I bet those would look real nice on a whiteout

forzajuve 10-31-2013 03:26 PM

You can achieve the same look with plasti dip too. But they do look really nice. I wish my ultramarine came with those black ones.

Superhatch 10-31-2013 03:31 PM

I think our wheels in almost any solid color looks better than the stock setup.

Oh, it does lol. I'll get some pics up later today if I can remember.

Vmax911 10-31-2013 04:18 PM

I've thought about trying to paint just the silver portion of our rims to create a subtle two-tone. These look pretty nice.

Norkoastal 10-31-2013 04:25 PM

Pls post pics on the car.. Wondering how these will look on DGM since the stockers already look fairly close colorwise..

Here is one @F1point4

They look pretty good. I had been thinking about powder coating my stock wheels but I'm happy I went with aftermarket instead.

Where in Texas?

Juvenile 10-31-2013 10:23 PM

They look awesome, but the majority of wheels look good until a tire is fitted.. I think certain tires can either make or break the look...

Looks so much better than the stock set up.

I plasti-dipped mine white. Cause im trying to see if white looked good on an asphalt.

Kimsey47 10-31-2013 11:39 PM

Too bad we can't get the stock design in 18's that are a little wider. If Subaru/Toyota had offered that I'd probably have considered it as I do like the OEM wheel design. That color is pretty cool; however, I don't think I'd liked it on the DGM.

FRiSson 11-01-2013 09:49 AM

Stocks look better in my opinion, the alternating bands of silver create what they call "dynamic tension". The sense of movement even when not moving.

ZionsWrath 11-01-2013 10:07 AM

I like it a lot but the on car pic is kind of underwhelming. Needs a better offset maybe?

Not a great pic, and as far as i can tell, its the exact same size as the stock wheel. I have more pictures ill put up later today just so people can see.
