Just like the Starlet and 510, I always thought the 4 door versions looked weak.

There was no AE86, no MR2, no Celica or no Supra sedan so why make a 4 door FR-S!?! :thumbdown:

if they make it a wagon i doubt we will see it in the US. just look at the mazda 5 wagon. hurray CAFE emissions regulations

but as far as the image in the original post. its not bad looking but i think they should curve the rear door to follow the line of the wheel well more.

What is so appealing about hatchbacks? To me those hatchback concepts look like the car has cancer and needs to be taken out to the pasture and shot. Hatchbacks do not set loins on fire.

They are talking about a 4 door concept car, no one at Toyota from what I have read is talking production. The convertible was a well received concept and it was still canned. Take these articles with a grain of salt.

Subaru would have to design and develop a flat 6 for this beast, a stock FA20 won't do shit in a sedan. They should also make the 6 an option for the 2 door. And a wagon variant would get a turbocharged flat 6 that was optional in the sedan but would fit in the coupe and be offered as part of an STi package.

Subaru, are you listening?

4 door fr-s is the worst idea in the long sad history of bad ideas. And I also agree with the above post about hatch's, if you want one get the Rex 5 door or Mazda 3. I'm starting to think there is only
a handful of us that love the car for what it is.


The biggest stories on this forum now involve "fr-s needs this, fr-s possibly getting that"....

Honestly, if camry v6 was with rwd? people would gobble over it. Or make it a 2 doors. Actually nothing will satisfy human being bro. They will always seek out some thing that is nonexistent

FYI - I do love everything about my FRS. But in MY opinion, a 4 door FRS is definitely worth consider. What do I know, right?
