Saw a chrome wrapped BRZ at the mall today.
|
Way to kill the lines of the car.

I realize I'm going to be HUGELY in the minority here.. BUT
I think, with the right wheels that shit is choice. I would absolutely do it to my personal car. It just needs to be properly accented. Every time I see the DB9 in the Doritioes commercial I swoon. |
|
Forget the fire, it needs to be Viscontifried.
|
That's almost as bad as someone actually wanting this on their LFA. Way to ruin 1 of 500 cars.

Interesting how the LFA left the side mirrors black.
|
Hmm. A lot more negative reactions than before. Makes me wonder if people really have their own opinions, or just echo what the first response says so they don't feel outcast.

I think it looks very unique. I would drive that. Better than seeing the same old colors and stickers everywhere I go.. :D

LFA is good in any color  |
I hope he enjoys brake dust, nicks, scratches and everything else your tires kick up because there is no way in hell I'd drive behind that thing at night. Chrome bumpers are horrible enough.

Mastro (sp?) Subaru, central Florida I believe.
This car was at the 86 mega meet in Orlando a few weeks ago. Not my cup of tea.....or beer. Beer is good. |
I've seen a black chrome GTR in my area that I think looks sick as hell.

The LFA isn't that great looking in Chrome but it does not look as bad as the BRZ. The GT-R in the video posted above looks great! It has more lines and some add ons (ground effects and fender treatments) that make it look better than the previous cars posted. |

depends on the shade of brown. Metallic brown is nice: http://images.uptilo.com/advancarbon...ACCDE58A01.jpg  |

That's a nice one, but I was thinking more of a poopy brown color. |

I would never do this to a car, especially for $7000. |
I was actually wondering what a BRZ would look like with chrome racing stripes up the hood like the camaros

Exactly! fuchsia or puke green, bring it on  |
That BRZ looks awesome haha!
Before I saw the GTR, I was also going to mention that maybe the chrome is a bit too light on the BRZ for it to be something I'd like, but if it was darker like the GTR that looks like a sweet unique finish! I'm wondering if being inside a brightly lit mall makes it look brighter than it actually is? The best part about that finish is that its a mobile sun-reflecting-blinding-mirror-machine! Wonder how it looks in the night though? |

I think it has more to do with the setting...I don't like the look, but it isn't painful to look at in the outdoor settings of the post you linked...I actually like the shot across the hood and roof with the clouds reflected... Now here we have been presented with a shitty mall setting reflecting...the interior of a mall, had this display been set up in Victoria's secret we may have seen a different reaction aswell, That is not to say that people aren't (almost) all sheep, people like to be part of the in crowd |

The BRZ and LFA are almost perfect: they only need chrome window tint and polished wheels.
Then park them on a big puddle at sunset. |
Maestro Subaru's BRZ?
