Frs friendly shops for springs installation in Los Angeles area.
I have a car that needs suspension installation and another car that needs springs installation. I can do the suspensions myself but I wouldn't do the springs. Any shop in LA area that has worked on our cars and knows things such as not using guns so the Shaft doesn't spin?
Recommendations are appreciated. UPDATE: Post number 22 |

You might try micro image in San Fernando valley. Lookup microimageonline.com they are occasionally out at the Wednesday night meet in Granada Hills. If you do use them let me know how it goes as I am considering them as well.

Does Evasive charge $140 for spring installation? per spring or 4 springs?
$140 OTD? |
Fyi, you dont need any spring compressors for your stock struts. They are very lightly compressed. I don't think you could even kill an ant with that lol. I have done that. You really want spring compressor? Go to autozone, they give you free loaner.
The big part is to tighten your strut's bolt. You need to hold the shaft from spinning. The right tool is required for this process. If you dont have the tools, that's gonna be a bummer. The DIY failed to mention that, but it was discussed in the thread if you keep reading. Other than tools and springs, elbow grease is needed to install springs. The rear suspension was tough lol due to rear arms. I had to take out sway bar bolt in order to disassemble the rear suspension. You really have to push down the rear arms to take out the struts. If $140 gets the jobs done, don't save that money lol.. get it done at shop. |

Oh yeah! Install front camber bolts. Get the bolts and they are cheap. You will thank me. Say you want to get wheels before upgrading coils, shoot ur wheels poke alot. That is a bummer because ur front chamber is 0. Then you realize you need to shell out more for another alignment.
