Just did a 'little' photoshoot on my FRS :)

Finished my aero kit finally, and I was planning to get it done in summer and make a proper photoshoot on it, but plans where not going as I wanted them to be... So did a little shoot with Autumn around... Turned out quite good I guess :)

All the photos done by my friend VAZZ - hes 'quite good' I could say at car photography :) Check his website for more amazing pics! http://vazz.lt

Ok - here we go:

Well, since you're sportin' the Illinois plates, you may want to swap your plates if you want to keep it "authentic." As you have them mounted now, they are backwards. The one with the registration sticker goes on the rear of the car.

Nice pictures, by the way!

Haha - thanks! I got the car with the plates like this, and never new they have to be backwards :D At one point its 'illegal' to drive the car more then 3 month here with the plates / docs like this unregistered, but as I have no customs stamp on the docs - no one knows the date when it was imported :)

Thanks! :)

Very professional! Looks great! Can you please tell me exactly what size wheel and what tire you have on there? I really like when the tire is more thick, such as what you have. Thanks.

SSR Type-C 17x8 ET35 all around wrapped in 225/45 :)

very nice picture... thanks for sharing.... :-)

forzajuve 10-15-2013 03:19 PM

Thanks man! I appreciate it. How much better was going 1 inch wider while still keeping the OEM size? Any noticeable performance difference or gas mileage difference?

To be honest - I never driven it on stock wheels/tire combo. I got it with 18x8 235/40 and wasn't happy at all with how it performed with these wheels.. Switching to SSR's where like Night and DAY difference, because of how LIGHT they are.. Car handless / rides super nice now.

rice_classic 10-16-2013 02:49 AM

By far, the best looking modified 86 I've seen to date.

Eloquent, tasteful and minimalist. Just the right amounts of perfect.

suaveflooder 10-16-2013 02:53 AM

WOW! Those pictures are amazing! What wing is that? LOVE how it flows with the lines of the car!

Some of the best pictures I've seen in quite some time. I just took up photography myself, but I'm nowhere near this level yet. Great setting, beautiful car.

SportInjected 10-17-2013 12:16 AM

Labas!

Great job on the car and amazing fabrication work! Great to see people in Europe working on the twins.

It turned out beautifully.

Your friend Vazz has a good eye. This is outstanding work.

I'd like to see a number of these shot with a polarizing filter; this would largely remove the reflections from the glass and the paint. I'd like to see the shots done with and without polarization.

Tell your friend that I know it's expensive, but well worth it, if he doesn't already have one. My 82mm B+W Kaesemann slim multicoated POL filter for my Canon lenses was around $220, but you only cry once. :)
