I thought it would be pretty funny to see what some people have mistaken your cars for.

Also, what people have said about your car they have gotten wrong.

I've had two people in my town ask me if it was a Tiburon :thumbdown:. Only one has asked if it was the new Genesis.

A friend girl of mine thought my car was an FRS, I told her my car was a BRZ, she thinks im lieing because there's no such thing. The next day she came back and said she wants a BRZ. lol its one of those wtheck moment

Neighbor thought it was a Porsche.

A Hyundai dealer thought it was a Maserati.. Hell yeah.

Discount Tire dude thought it was a new Lexus. :)

The guy demanded to know what I was doing driving it. (I'm old, with gray hair. ;) )

I told him. He didn't believe me, not even after much discussion, concluding with, "No, really… This is your son's car, and you just drove it up to the race this weekend, right?"

This is particularly funny to me since my DD is a Tiburon. I hope I get this one day, just so I can say, "no, but my other car is."

My first day on the new job, a new co-worker said I thought you were driving some kind of Ferrari...I laughed and he said "No..I'm serious.."

I second the $50,000 comment. I get so many looks and people complimenting the car. The only person that asked how much I paid for my BRZ thought it was in that range. Lol

I was asked if it was a new Audi yesterday. I'll take it. :party0030:

Reminds me of this: My neighbor a few houses down had some motorcycle buddies gathered in his drive. One of them looked over at our drive and saw our Miata, and he asked my neighbor, "Is that an S2000?"

My neighbor replied, "No, that's a Miata. The S2000 is inside the garage." :eyebulge:

One of my coworkers said my BRZ looks like a "supercar". Another calls it my "concept car." I guess I'll take either one. All I know is people are always stating wondering what kinda car it is when I'm driving.

Most people I've talked to don't try to take a guess, they just ask.

When I tell them it's a Toyobaru, then it becomes a different story.

Ah, yeah.

Took mine to a local meet tonight, generally its a melting pot of just about every kind of car. I cant tell you how many old people were confused by the scion logo, Toyota/subaru under the hood and boxer motor just blew their mind.

Even though my car is still Scion badged, people still ask "What is it?" and I get double takes from Porsche drivers quite often. My OEM looking mods probably adds to the confusion. :)

I was stopped at a security checkpoint on my navy base and the rent-a-cop asked if it was one of those 100k nissan things. GTR? I'll take it. Most of the time people just ask what it is.

I had a guy and his son in a 911 convertible today staring at my car wondering what it was... I'm curious what they thought since they were looking more at my car than I looked at his $100+ Porsche LOL!

I was asked today if it was a Tesla.

No really, and by a guy manning the gate at a local track. I was kinda dumbfounded.

At night from a distance following, the tail lights could pass for a Ferrari 458, from what I've had more than once. The guy who pulled up at the lights next to me was disappointed to see closer up that it wasn't the 458, but still liked the look.

Well, at least he was disappointed about it not being a 458. I've seen several people on the Lotus forums say people have been disappointed their Elise/Exige wasn't a corvette.

I have customer come in my shop the other day and she found out that I got rid off my 2008 Suzuki Hayabusa for a sports car. She told me that it is a nice looking car and told me it kinda looked like a Mitsubishi eclipse that is in production now. I'm thinking bitch this the legendary reborn Toyota e86 dammit. Lol.

Lolol. I had a guy in the new carrera 911 breaking his neck while looking at it. I was breaking my neck looking at his car. :)

It's crazy how much attention we get, even if we are still bone stock.
