SC vs Turbo

So I have been looking at dyno charts and what not on this car but I haven't seen a consistent answer on this.
What are the pros and cons of the SC and Turbo?

If anyone has had experience with both on this car specifically can you write up a short comparison?

I know I want to go FI on this car and I have been thinking SC mostly but I am wondering if maybe a Turbo would be more to my desires.

Basically I am disappointed with the 1st gear pull being weak

King Tut 09-13-2013 12:22 PM

Now you did it.

REALLY!!!

It has been debated about 1000 times already. If you did a quick search you will see that while SC and Turbos both have their positives and negatives it is widely agreed upon that the new electric superchargers are by far the best of them all.

This question is akin to asking a blind man if he prefers the color yellow over green
Everyone who can see will tell the blind man THEIR favorite color.

This. It is also just as affordable as a Honda FI kit apparantly.

SillySaxon 09-13-2013 02:28 PM

Love the Avatar. If I were a mod of this sub-forum, it would have been done a while ago.

killerkid08 09-13-2013 03:51 PM

Someone close this before, it gets too hot to handle.

SillySaxon 09-13-2013 04:23 PM

Is it true that a SC will still suffer from the belt sapping engine power? I thought that was an outdated issue? If that's the case maybe a short ram is better?

While we're doing another worthless thread, need more of visconti users to put feedback up, he's sold a batrillion things and only 19 people have left trader feed back... The link is in my signature.

Adeets 09-13-2013 06:24 PM

I like the word batrillion.... I'm trade marking that.

Thats Geordi La Forge, the baddest engineer to ever set foot in the NCC-1701-D except for perhaps Montgomory Scott whos transporter pattern was saved during a shipwreck (The Jenolen) and kept in stasis for several years by setting the pattern buffer to a diagnostic mode, thus saving his life.

He is basically a black professor from Gilligans Island
