FA20 oem Short Block 3k miles

My old short block, I managed to get this back from toyota when my valve train took a dump.Toyota replaced the head an direct injection system, little birdy at dealer told me after my car was done that one piston had a few nicks on top, didnt affect the running of the car but I was able to argue for a new short block :), then my old one sat in crate for a month. Same bird told me Toyota did not want it so come make offer n pick it up. My plan was to slowly build it up for serious boost but ended up buying another 2013 car that was allready turbo n four doors for my son. So now it sits in my garage. Im taking offers that include shipping to U.S residents only update ********** $750 SHIPPED*********

Would you consider shipping outside of the US at cost?

Depends on where the Motherland is.

England.

It'd probably have to be strapped to a mini-pallet. I suspect shipping will cost all of $250, maybe more. Can enquire if you'd entertain it?

Area51 09-09-2013 07:30 AM

Is that something ups can handle? I have access to pallets and strapping material, just have never shipped anything that way.

BlueDubbinTDI 09-09-2013 08:00 AM

what do you potential buyers have planned?

Yeah but it'd probably cost a fortune. Do you have any way to weigh it?

Area51 09-09-2013 09:44 AM

Its around 85lbs if I recall.

You can ship that fairly easily via UPS. We used to ship engine blocks via UPS all the time at the boat shop. You are gonna pay for it though, especially since it would be air freight crossing the Atlantic.

UPS have initially quoted me $200 for shipping, which is shockingly good. Can you leave it with me a day to get some proper quotes? Please PM me pick up zip code and residential/commercial so I can do it properly. Thanks.

This is the motor you ran nitrous on, right? Clutch failed and revved out enough to take out the valve train? Wow, that's unfortunate
