ABOUT THIS CAR
This car is known to be one of the fastest on the streets. I had it tuned and maintained by Prime Motoring in East Rutherford, NJ with tuner JR Tuned. This car has been running E85 fuel for 95% of it's life. The turbo was installed after the 1,000 break in and has been running strong ever since. There have been no mechanical issues with the kit or any of the upgrades. The car drives hard and can be used every day. This car is only hand washed and kept in a ventilated garage all the time, just had it detailed a few weeks ago. I made sure that the car would produce the amount of power that it does while maintaining the reliability it needs to operate. I have never tracked the car. I plan on putting up dyno information and other things that would show how great this car is. This is my 2nd FR-S, the first one was totaled. The P&L kit came from the first car and only had one pipe that was bent, which was replaced - of course. This car is very well known in the Tri-State community and I do not recommend this car to new drivers or someone who has had no track experience. There has been a great amount of money that has been put into the car and I would hope the next owner would treat it correctly. I am selling this car to make room for the next one. I am not in a rush to sell it and I feel the asking price is fair - there is very little room for negotiation, but I'm open to hear offers.

Kochinopride 09-03-2013 01:42 PM

It's not about the money, it's about sending a message. lol

No, It's time to get a regular car (XJL) and the next fast car (MP4-12C)... Life goes on...

lol I have one already but its supercharged lol I hope this car sells for around you offer price its important it does for the custom built frs/brz re sale market

Kochinopride 09-10-2013 12:50 PM

I agree. It's actually saving someone money when you think about it. If someone had the direction of boosting the car (safely) they could definitely save a ton of money by buying this car... Runs strong, spools quickly and is reliable - what more can you ask for?

kykiee 09-10-2013 12:53 PM

What's the final whp numbers?

Kochinopride 09-10-2013 12:59 PM

Not sure to be honest. I want to find out myself and hope to this week or next.

Godzilla35 09-17-2013 09:39 AM

not to sound cynical, but how exactly did you ensure that it maintained reliability without an engine build and proper tune? And if you do have a proper tune, how do you not have dyno graphs already / know peak numbers without having to get it done?

I don't get how a car can be a beast, reliable, powerful, not recommended for anyone without track experience, but never tracked, running E85 and a good DD.

Kochinopride 09-17-2013 10:05 AM

The car was street tuned. Adding a few more things to it before I dyno it. I drive this car (almost) daily and I push it continuously on the road. It stands up strong. I am mainly going by my experience with the car, of course. I can't guarantee that this car will stand up every single mile - no one can, but so far it's been running smooth and without issues.

I recommend the car for more experienced drivers, simply because it has a lot of power. I wouldn't recommend this as a "first car" for someone. Someone with track experience may have a better chance of understanding the operations of it, perhaps I should've put "experience with turbo cars" or something else - thanks for commenting on it, helps me understand how some may view my posting.

Godzilla35 09-18-2013 02:59 AM

Cool, GLWS. I wasn't trying to be a prick, but it'll save you a ton of time from "tire kickers" to be upfront with a built car like this. If you can't guarantee something like engine longevity or numbers that are SAE corrected, then it's going to be a hardsell with the "experienced" crowd. Sounds like a nice project / turnkey for someone ready to do some tuning and able to source extra funds for a built block.

Kochinopride 09-22-2013 09:27 PM

Let's hear some offers :)

I'll buy it for 40K if you include your lambo.. I'm not even kidding.

Kochinopride 09-23-2013 10:47 AM

add about $220,000 more and you have a deal lol

spc2125 10-14-2013 10:53 PM

Bump for this car!

Will it be stored in a garage over winter? Or DD over winter?

Id love to buy this car come spring time.

Kochinopride 10-14-2013 10:59 PM

all my cars are garaged. I never leave a car outside. I'm going to be driving a CUV during the winter... to be honest, if there's a cold cold day with sunshine and no road hazards, I might take it for a spin :)

SuperKazRacing 10-15-2013 11:48 AM

You seem to have Outstanding Taste in your Car's :respekt:!

How would you compare the FR-S "Performance wise " to the Lambo 570-4 Superlegerrra, or the CLS AMG C63 ?

I've been in Both, and they are pretty dam AMAZING Street Cars:wub: !

Back in the day I had a 7 second SS/O Turbo Mustang, and 1500+rwhp Turbo Saleen Speedster- "Street Legal"

Besides my PSM ,RR & Bonneville Bullets.

So Speed is all in the Owner/Driver/Rider's perspective :burnrubber:....

Haven't had a chance yet to do a MP4-12C ,but here they are otherworldly  !!!

Kochinopride 10-21-2013 08:48 PM
