Im loving every second of it

Only thing is I dont know the best place to put gas for it lol

I went to shell and put v-power in

Is ultramar supreme good too? Im in canada if that helps

Does your gas cap only click once when you tighten it?

Like my other cars would keep clicking and spinning once tight :s

Guess im a bit paranoid

And this is why, ladies and gentlemen, black is the best color.

Welcome to the forums!

Young_makaveli 08-23-2013 02:25 AM

Thanks everyone!

Will update this thread as soon as i put new upgrades :)

Anthony 08-23-2013 02:36 AM

There's actually a build thread forum, if you want to start posting all your upgrades. You could either start a new thread there or just flag your own post here and politely ask a mod to move this thread for you.

Ah ok then

Thanks for the heads up

kALMIGHTY 08-23-2013 02:51 AM

Esso and Shell are the only ones without ethanol.
Petro Canada uses 10% ethanol, so their 94 octane is actually worse for your HPFP than Esso or Shell 91.
I've been filling up at Esso since I got my car last month because I get gas discounts there, and it's been running great!

Alright so I guess the best places to put gas is shell and esso

You know if ultramar's supreme gas is any good for our cars?

No clue. I don't even know what that is. I'm guessing we don't have an Ultramars here in Calgary, so I couldn't tell you, honestly.

ZionsWrath 08-23-2013 06:26 AM

Nice glare bro

roddy 08-23-2013 07:15 AM

I've checked at some Esso stations and seen the "may contain up to 10% ethanol" sticker. I have heard that Ultramar uses Shell gas. The two Ultramar stations near me do not have the sticker, so presumably, do not have Ethanol in the 91. I have found that my car runs best on Petro Canada's Ultra 94. However, that stuff really gets the crickets going. If I use Shell's 91, the crickets go away.

ktulu7 08-23-2013 04:10 PM

You guys are lucky. I can't find a station without ethanol here in southwest Texas. :(

To this date I don't understand the thought process behind posting pictures of completely stock vehicles. What are we supposed to see that we haven't seen before?

Frstorm 08-27-2013 09:00 AM

Dem- it's called being excited. Don't read these threAds if you don't want to see.

I am just questioning this act.

The HID "bulb" may fit, but you going from a point source (a small hot filament) at known location to a diffuse source. The optics in the headlamp typically are not designed for that. The cut off is screwed up. That is the key. You create glare for oncoming drivers. Guys are making a quick buck selling this "cool" stuff. Great way to make money. Provide an truly independent evaluation that it can be correctly and safely. If someone has this I 'd love to see it. It would be great if it could be right and not costing a lot. Every day I see a bunch of bad conversions.

I assure you that i'm not glaring anyone with my xenons

I tried with a friend too see of I would blind him from different angles (behind his car, incoming in front, etc.) and did not glare him at all

My hids make a perfect line so the light doesn't go everywhere like if I had no projectors

Young_makaveli 08-30-2013 11:03 PM

Hey anyone got a review for tom's ft86 taillights?
