Tune Shops in Georgia

Does anyone know any Tune shops in Georgia (preferably near Atlanta)...Tried TopSpeed Motorsports and they don't have the licensing from ECUTEK yet and don't have an ETA yet and don't want to go to Forged. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks....

no shop in GA is doing licensing for ECUtek...you'll have to get a tune from elsewhere. I don't know that TopSpeed is actually going to get the licensing from ECUtek.
@Mike@TSM?
@Steve@TSM?

You could always get a tune from fa20club and dyno tune remotely. This is a service they offer free of charge to those that buy their tune. Just have to pay TopSpeed for their dyno time. This is what I will be doing with my turbo kit.

I talked to Steve today (Aug 20) and they are currently in the process of getting a ECUTEK license because there has been a high demand for tunes from there shop for the FRS/BRZ. There still waiting for the guys in Japan to send it to them... He told me he would be able to get me an ETA by the end of the week, so Ill keep you all posted.

Hey guys, so sorry for the wait here!

We have been in touch with ECUTek on acquiring the software to tune these so that we can offer support for these cars in the Southeast and, unfortunately, it's just taking some time.

Just so we can have a quick gauge, who here would be interested in a tune once we do have all the software and licenses?

I may be down the road... Need to get turbo installed first. :-)

Count Me In For a tune from you guys

2pt5RS 08-21-2013 12:43 AM

perhaps I might get a tune. :)

buddy32 08-21-2013 08:26 AM

still need lots of work, but down the road, yes!

reeves 08-21-2013 08:39 AM

I'm happy with my current tune/mods, but if I get more mods in the future sure!

evox2frs 08-21-2013 11:00 PM

I'd be down for an E85 tune at this point. Doug tuned my last car perfectly. Could you guys also look into BRZedit?

I would be down, I already have the Ecutek cable and license. Definitely would rather have a custom tune.

I would be down for a tune but my brother Joel already told you that haha. Doug did a great job with his STI so I will definitely be taking my BRZ there.

I plan on getting a tune, and had been hoping to go to TSM, in about a year. Quite possibly sooner.

tdenton22 01-17-2014 11:08 PM

Any updates on tsm getting ecutek? Definitely interested in a tune down the road.

xwd 01-18-2014 01:06 PM

With the latest release from Ecutek which allows end-user tuning, they don't have to purchase a kit, they can use your own license/software to tune it. The only things unavailable are the RaceRom stuff like map switching, etc. unless you paid extra for it for your own license.

They have a thread on WRXAtlanta regarding a Greddy turbo kit they just installed/tuned and used Ecutek since the guy already had it, but they have another tuning solution of their own they can use as well.

I just bought a 2014 BRZ to play around with as a personal car. Tuning… turbos.. suspension… etc

Doug

xwd 01-19-2014 03:38 PM

Great news, I'll be hitting you up for a tune once I get my header and whatnot installed.

Thought I saw another one there while you guys were installing mine. Who's was that? Didn't realize you guys were tuning the fa20 now....

They did a real nice job on a Greddy install/tune for one guy on here. There's a post in the Forced Induction section somewhere.

I've ordered a few parts here and there from TSM, and they're great. I'm looking forward to getting a tune from them once I have some parts installed. But power is the lowest item on my list, attacking brakes and suspension first after I get some more seat time.

Old revival here. TSM tuning twins now? I'd love to get mine tuned. I'd go the OFT route but I can't read computer jargon, nor do I understand mapping/- A/F ratios/ etc.

I believe TSM did post up some tuning results on the twins, so they are tuning them now.

xwd 04-09-2014 02:49 PM

Yeah they do tune them, I know they have tuned them using Ecutek and I believe BRZEdit. I'm sure they could tune using OFT also, they are certainly familiar with open source Subaru tuning. Just give them a call.
