Hello!

First off, My name is Maverick
I have been building a 2004 Celica GTS for the last two years.

http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/d...15619_n_1_.jpg

here is a link to the celica build thread.
http://www.newcelica.org/forums/showthread.php?t=346898&referrerid=13372630

http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/d...25155076_n.jpg

My first Mod was to swap the Celica and FRS wheels out because honestly the OE wheels are awful.
Then I made a custom intake.

http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/d...92306959_n.jpg

Yesterday I drove to Nags Head North Carolina, my odometer has about 500 miles on it now.

Tomorrow I am ordering J2 dual exhaust and a Injen or Takeda intake As soon as I finish getting them installed, I will order either lowering springs or full coilovers.
I am just trying to take things one day at a time and enjoy my warranty.

New exhaust today.

Fitament is off, but it sounds great!

Another fellow NC.org member. :D

Good progress so far. What other plans do you have later on? And do you still have the Celica?

Ahmeda 08-21-2013 10:38 PM

What exhaust is that? How much did you get it for and would you be able to put up a vid? I'd love to see what it sounds like off of still stock car :D

Yes, I still have the celica. It is sitting in my garage. I am building the engine again in it right now.

As for the exhaust. It is the J2 dual SS 4.5 inch tip catback. I paid just over 4 for it. there are a couple of videos on youtube of it. DNA's video is the most accurate sounding imo.

Future plans- Coilovers within the next month or two. Greddy intake, Five axxis kit, cusco or megan racing rear LCA's. Front and rear sway bars, strut tower braces, uni chip. Eventually I would like to boost it, But I want my warranty to be over first. I will be getting different wheels and tires soon hopefully.

I am also interested in Fabbing up a custom intake mainifold out of aluminum and polishing it. Thank God there is a dyno down the road for me to test potential gains.

As for carbon fiber hoods and trunks, that's a NO No, I grew out of that.
I am interested in a BBK and a cf lip, side lips and a rear diffuser.

 I should have most of it done within six months.

Ahmeda 08-23-2013 07:09 PM

4k?.. And any links to the YouTube vids?

Well my order is supposedly canceleed now.

There is a shop downtown I have paint all of my things. I had them pant my wifes car last year and its super clean :)

If you want me to do it I can, But I will have your car for atleast 4 days. I take my time and do things perfectly. You can have the fenders painted on your own and it will be cheaper.

UltraMarine86 11-20-2013 09:51 AM

oh the car down time isnt an issue, its my third vehicle. you going to try and order the fenders from some where else?

UltraMarine86 03-16-2014 04:18 PM

I have not had issues with rocks flying all over the place, the fenders catch pretty much everything, The inside of the fenders are rino lined as well thanks to an extra can i hadlaying around.

I did all the fender work, i am pretty handy. I also installed tims kit a couple of weeks ago, you should see it at springfest.

Well I just returned from Trust automotive. Ross flashed a NA tune onto my ECU after I purchased the ECUTek license.
Ross seems like a chill guy and customer service was top notch.

I have my rear 18x10.5 RPf1s sitting in the garage, I'm just waiting on the front pair before install.

I also have an oil cooler and Innovate supercharger that I plan to install on Sunday.

I am trying to get everything done before Springfest.

Tires for the RPF1s

So is your car gonna end up being twin charged or are you going to sell the innovate before putting the turbo on?

I'm gonna try, incoming family might ruin that chance.

I'll probably sell the supercharger after I throw the turbo on. I am not interested in compound charging. I am no shooting for some ridiculous HP, I am simply trying to build a great handeling 400whp car. If thats too much power, then it will get toned down.

You are welcome to come over tomorrow, we are starting the install at 0800.

UltraMarine86 04-22-2014 08:58 PM

Yo dude did you ever finish the install?

he finished it, working kinks out now through logs for him. His should go on the rollers on Tuesday. lol 2 rocket bunny cars on the rollers on the same day, what are the odds.
