My wife has one, but she's not much into forums.

My car was delivered yesterday. The truck couldn't make it to my friend's house due to tree limbs being too low over the road, so they met him at the closest gas station and he unloaded the car there. My girlfriend drove my car from the gas station to my friend's garage. Meanwhile, I'm in the Middle East. So she officially has more experience driving my FR-S than I do.


...but she's still not on the forums.

Well damn. I guess I'm one of very few females who wanted/own an FR-S. that would explain the looks I keep getting lol

You are not alone :) My husband sohcanddohc had me join the forums even though I'm not very familiar with them and how they work. I have been dying to have an FR-S since I first saw the article in his Motortrend mag over a year ago. I had originally decided to wait until Feb 14 to look into buying one as we are limited in test drives for the FR-S in this area. My husband's friend works at a local dealership where one was received so imagine my excitement when he told me of its presence at their lot. It was mine that night! I couldn't have asked for a better drivers car! And to think, I was deciding between it and a genesis. Oh the horror had I not been able to drive the FR-S to make the decision ever so clear!

This is my first forum...I'm glad you didn't get the genesis too! I had a 2005 special edition xB, went to go trade it in for the FR-S and they told me it wasn't going to happen...so I walked out with a tC...3 months later I went back to get the Firestorm FR-S...again they told me no they'd lose to much with the tC trade-in...so I left with the Asphalt FR-S (Firestorm was more $)...1 month later some dumb broad rear ended me. AGAIN I go back after I got it fixed...I wanted my damn Firestorm! So I got it :) After they all continued to make fun of me for buying 3 cars in less than 6 months. But I got what I wanted! So I know how you feel! I've been wanting the FR-S before it came out. And now I can only find a few other females that have one...there go my dreams of an all girl meet! ;)

I'll post some when i get off work. There are some on the southeast section from meets in the pensacola/destin area.

i'm going to guess a lot of the girls, not all, are more into the looks of the car rather than tuning it. my girlfriend has two friends that have them, they haven't changed their cars from stock at all and i'm 99% sure they won't be joining these forums. BUT, they are out there!

You're sure I paid for it?? Just because I'm a female doesn't mean I make irrational decisions. Is it true what they say...guys buy nice cars to make up for what their lacking in other areas? "I'm sure" it's true in your case. But hey, it's your money...do as you please. Although in your case you probably should've purchased something over $100k. GT-R maybe?

hahahaha...I didn't lose anything! YES my Firestorm was more money - my friend was my car salesman...I got discounted on a few things. I didn't pay anymore.

btw - it was easier than painting my nails.
