These are nice but I cannot see $450 for led tails to replace my led tails.

Its just a matter of style for some, Its not that OEM ones are not good, These just give the rear of the car a different look.

Correct, these are 100% plug and play as mentioned in the original post. The connectors are already correctly pinned :)

interested, do you have a confirmed ship out date?

Not an exact date yet, but we were told they should be shipped out to us near the end of August. We will ship them to our customers the day after we receive them and receive the rest of the balance due (since we are taking $200 down as a pre-order). Price of JDM the same?

The JDM tails are a bit more expensive, at $500 shipped through our website. They will be harder to come by once the USDM tails are released, since they are only making limited quantities of the JDM tails.

Any news on the official clear lens version will be released ?

Nothing yet from TOM's. We will update as soon as we hear anything. The USDM red tails are still scheduled to be released at the end of the month.

Why would someone want JDM tails over USDM? Amber signals?

I loved the amber signals on my OEM Euro tails on my R32.

Personal preference, I suppose. Some like the JDM over the USDM, and some like the USDM over the JDM. Different folks different strokes :thumbsup:

Just got of fthe phone with them, They are hoping (fingers crossed) with in the next 2 weeks. It was a little harder to find out the exact date since these will land at Depo First. I will update everyone if I find out anything more.

Are you 100% certain about this? Maybe the lens in RED but the bulbs are still amber? Can we get some video of the USDM Toms functioning?
