KEG LYPH MAFYA Flip Key Mods - Legit?
 

Hey Guys,

Been researching getting my 10 Series Smart Key turned into a flip key but was disheartened to find out that the standard DIY doesn't work because the buttons aren't in the same place.

Recently, I saw a reference to a company KEG LYPH MAFYA that are making flip keys for both smart and non-smart keys.

Their facebook site is only a few weeks old but the product looks legit and they are offering intro prices $30.00/1 $40.00/2 which is a great deal.

Has anyone had any experience with these guys or has anyone already sent them keys to mod?

IMO, I would not consider it based on contents on the Facebook page.

They are legit, it is a group of east coast frs/brz owners who made KEG LYPH MAFYA and some more unreleased products. I plan on ordering mine friday, and it doesnt work ill just go to their house with a bat....but I don't that will be necessary. I think @sklimo is part of it.

Hahaha No, don't get me wrong. I love it ha but there are like 3 pics of the key and then ass, ass, ass, camel toe, ass, tits, ass, ass... And I'm okay with that.

Anyone else think the metal on the pivot point looks like a Nissan logo?

it does but the key is really cheap looking. All plastic. I know the point is that you are never suppose to have to take the key out so what's the point of having a nicer key.

But, like most cosmetic mods that serve no function other than to make you feel better, I still want a better looking key.

Yeah these guys are part of the New England group. A little nutty yes, but they were posting those pictures a while back so I would call it legit.

Iv'e seen their flip keys in person and the guys from KLM don't fool around when it comes to business.

true, key flip is not really used ever. I've been thinking about designing my own and having it 3d printed.

No worries anyone, I've known these guys since I bought my FR-S and they are 100% trustworthy. They even let this old dinosaur hang with them! A great group of true enthusiasts who happen to be very tech-savvy with very creative minds. A little 'dirty' at times (Facebook page) but there's nothing wrong with some T and A, especially at my age!! :) :). They all have good regular jobs and do this for fun but mostly just to help out fellow 86 owners. IMO, that's the best motive ever.

They have more goodies in the pipeline so stay tuned... I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised.

I'm definitely going to order two sets. They don't destroy your OEM key right? These are just copies?

I'll definitely hit them up this weekend to see what I can do. Love the work. Hate the inscriptions so ill see if we can do without that part.!!

I just purchased 1 since they will need to take out the transponder for this thing to work. Since I DD mine, I can only send 1. Sucks -- but at least i'll have 1 that I like to use all the time.

I'm considering it, still on the fence though because it does look a bit cheap
