Great stuff! Can't wait to see more!

Sbeezy 07-31-2013 01:23 PM

Ive been waiting for the twins to get the anti_lag treatment!

Evan@D3PE 07-31-2013 02:09 PM

Woot! I love when we can use our experience in other race programs and engine management systems to come up with solutions in new platforms!

King Tut 07-31-2013 07:49 PM

Got to experience this in person. The Anti-lag and Advanced Traction Control still led to a ton of wheelspin, haha. @Synack

DJCarbine 07-31-2013 08:10 PM

Is the anti-lag just flatfoot shifting/launch control but with less ignition advance and more fuel... or is it a completely new feature

I wish end users had more control over the racerom funtions

OrbitalEllipses 07-31-2013 08:11 PM

Sounds like it spun through all of 1st and most of 2nd. Awesome.

Synack 07-31-2013 09:32 PM

What OP failed to mention is that this is my car in the video :)

Would love to see a demo video of your custom traction control in action.

Tell me what you'd like me to do and I'll see what I can film.

Front wheels pulling the car as the rears push! ;)

The boost by front wheel speed is GENIUS! I don't know if anyone else is doing this, but it makes so much sense.

Do you want all 3 modes tested? Or just the traction fully on. I don't know how much this will show you to be honest.

It'd be cool to see them all in one video:
Stock traction control on
VSC sport
Trac off
D3's new traction control.

Maybe even one with the pedal dance, if you're feeling ambitious. I know that's asking a lot though, so i'll take what i can get.

The new traction control completely takes over the old Subaru traction control.

oh wow, even with the traction control buttons untouched? does that mean that ECUtek tuners can disable traction control by default now? Maybe @ANTI_LAG can comment?

They just changed up all the parameters and features of the stock traction control. Of course a lot of work went into it though. This is with traction untouched. There are no extra buttons or combinations. Traction On is their new features and Traction Off is completely traction off. The new traction control is fantastic in the rain.

ANTI_LAG 07-31-2013 10:58 PM

Just to be clear, Synacks FRS does not have our trac control on it, he only has oem. It was not done so it was not left on his car. He has every other feature listed. So if you get smoked by him, theres no excuse :p

As for the antilag, it is something custom we made with the other features, at this time we are the only ones with this.

nlp187 08-01-2013 05:12 AM

That's pretty cool

continuecrushing 08-01-2013 05:30 AM

Nice, look forward to more!

ft_sjo 08-01-2013 05:36 AM

That 'anti lag' should be good for people who want to do burnouts off the line, but probably not much use coming out of a bend? @ANTI_LAG

Would be nice to see some proper ALS with a bypass valve and appropriate calibration..

I thought Chris told me that I had it. Otherwise, why would he have explained the whole thing to me?
