Looks good. I'll probably get a set when I'm Japan later in the year.

Nice. I'm pretty much sold on these, after not really feeling them at first. They really do compliment the 'halo' on the headlights.


By the way, must be the lighting, but I've never seen Argento look that "flat" before. Not necessarily a bad thing though, it makes it look like a battleship gray almost.

Is the part that says "TOMS'" on the tail light smooth on the outside?

why does the argento look so weird. looks like there is some post processing involved. HDR?

My friend took the photos and did some contrast/exposure adjustments, no HDR though.

I'm undecided between Toms and Valentis. I'm honestly waiting for a black housing taillights.

Yep, theyre actually quite bright, especially when you're directly behind the car, brighter than the Valentis

Maybe I missed this, but brightness vs stock?

I would say about the same during the day, or a tad brighter, but much brighter at night. I drove behind my friend with the same lights at night and it honestly hurt my eyes a bit looking directly at them.

Where did you get the back up sensors?

Do these tail lights have the side reflector illuminated?
Is the turn signal amber or red?
Are they JDM spec?

JDM, amber turn signals, and not sure about side reflector but prolly not

no illuminated side reflector yet

those comes with the DOT approved version due later this month.

I actually didn't want any more lights in the tail light to keep it clean so i opted for the one out now

these look better too. the USDM ones seem too aftermarket with the black housing and clear lens

Those ones are aftermarket. They are the Helix ones, apparently Helix had been trying to get approved by TOMS and so far hasn't. The official TOMS look just like the JDM variant (with the side reflector to make it legal stateside). Here's the two group buys for the real ones.

Looks like TOMS will be making the clear ones as well, they just aren't up for pre-order yet.

I wonder why they made the turn signal red instead of amber on those ones. I may go with JDM anyway.

I bought the jdm ones recently,

didnt care for dot, didnt care for side reflector light, didnt care for red turn signals.

the amber looks tight through the red lens, no side light means its cleaner imo (not too many lights jiving), they are plug and play.

They really do look good on your car - I like the JDm spec ones also, Good point about the extra little light -

The only difference in the USDM spec ones is the extra side bulb and the Turns are Red on the USDM- So its a toss up - I like that everything lights up one color - looks cleaner IMO
