Rev Works Southeast Install Specials!!

Its Time to give back to the community. We here at Rev Works have had a great amount of support from local car enthusiasts and members from these forums, and we would like to show our appreciation.

We have developed a few package deals that include an installed price. These prices are at a discounted rate from our normal pricing, so you will only find these deals on the forums!

SouthBend Clutch Kits - Starting at $850 Installed

http://www.revworksinc.com/assets/im...lt-hd-stg1.jpg

The DXD Clutch Kit offers something for everyone with some power! These clutch kits utilize South Bend's high performance pressure plate. You can expect a moderate increase in pedal pressure but with dual spring hub, various friction surface options and this pressure plate, you have a clutch that will hold some serious power and last!

Coilover Installation Package - $1350 Installed and Aligned

Your choice of the following 3 coilovers:

BC Racing
http://www.revworksinc.com/assets/im...bcbrzcoils.jpg

  • Mono-tube shock design
  • 30 levels of damping force adjustment, adjust compression/rebound
  • Pillowball mounts and adjustable camber plates included (where applicable)
  • Adjustable rear camber plates available
  • Separate full length height adjustable
  • One year warranty
  • Rebuildable

Stance Super Sport's + $50

http://www.revworksinc.com/assets/im...20brzcoils.jpg

  • 15-Way Damping Adjustable
  • Adjustable Camber Uppermount
  • Pillowball Uppermount
  • Cold Wound Linear Spring
  • Inverted Monotube Shocks
  • Dustboot
  • Aluminum Collars & Upper Mounts
  • Height Adjustable Lower Bracket

ISC coilovers

http://www.revworksinc.com/assets/im.../29vctpl_1.jpg

  • 32 Step Damper Adjustable
  • Pillowball Uppermount
  • Piston Rod Design
  • Sports Spring
  • Ride Height Adjustable
  • Aluminium Bracket
  • Single Cylinder Design

So what you get with this package is a full coilover setup, complete with installation, alignment and height adjustment. We start with disassembling each coilover and applying anti seize to them to give them long term adjust ability and prevent seizing. We will then install each coilover and set to the desired height and dampening. This means no matter if you plan on running on track with your new setup or just want to get rid of some of that 4x4 height the car comes with stock, we will be able to set you up exactly how you want. After we make all necessary adjustments, we will then align the car into spec also following the same rule as before, based off your driving habits.

A new promotion for the month of October. Any purchase and installation of BC Racing coilovers will get your car aligned for free!! That's a savings of $125 just for buying an already fantastic set of coilovers.

What you get:
  • BC Racing Coilovers (For any vehicle)
  • Installation
  • Ride Height Adjustment Set
  • Anti-seize applied on all coils
  • Alignment set to desired specifications

I just got my Stance suspension done at Rev Works this morning. I am very happy with the result. Here are a few pics...

Before....
http://i.imgur.com/Jfw9jQh.jpg

After (50mm lower)
http://i.imgur.com/0V2HI7X.jpg

And a few others during the install...

Front still in the box awaiting some anti-seize (these are using the 6k springs currently and they included 7k springs as well, just in case I want them later)
http://i.imgur.com/OfJfdYr.jpg

Rear sitting on the table, ready to go in
http://i.imgur.com/FGchk9K.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/xEg4LZJ.jpg

And installed...
http://i.imgur.com/z2C8tk5.jpg

http://i.imgur.com/ohsmCm1.jpg

http://i.imgur.com/Wo4j1MZ.jpg

Once the install was complete I stayed out in the shop with the guy who did the install (I didn't get his name but he was a very cool guy) and we started at a 1" drop. He re-installed the wheels and I wanted to go lower so we weighed the pros and cons of a 50mm drop so he put the car back in the air and took all the wheels off and went down .5", then reinstalled everything and dropped it off the lift to see if I liked it. I apologized and said that I would like to go a little lower (no wheel tuck, just low enough to close the gap). His response was, "Hey man, no worries. This is what I get paid to do and I'll keep making changes until you are happy with it." Like I said, awesome crew.

The ride is certainly different. It is stiffer than stock for sure but not like riding in a kart. The dampers are set in the middle so it isn't a bone-jarring ride around town. But the handling... wowzers!

I was heading home and turning right on a green turn arrow and took the corner at a decent clip (nothing ridiculous) behind a line of other cars turning right, and was going to swing wide as I left the apex of the corner for a smooth turn. Until... I see the grill of a police car that was making a U-turn (and not slowly either) without lights or siren. I jerked the wheel hard right and the car stuck to the inside lane like it was on a slot car track with no hesitation. (Cop sped off)

I was debating between Titan Motorsports and Rev Works for my car and I am glad that I went with RW. Titan is a big money operation and puts out great work but it didn't feel as personal. RW has the same quality but much more down-to-earth. And, with all of the Scoobies around their shop, it is obvious that they specialize in our car and boxers in general. Highly recommended shop  Too bad I am moving in two weeks to the opposite end of the country

PS. Sorry if I blew out your eardrums when you got in the car Matt :D

mfbmike 08-16-2013 11:48 PM

Awesome review. I could see someone getting bothered by someone asking them to dial in their suspension. That's impressive and goes a long way towards customer satisfaction and getting people to come back.

HAHAH no worries man, that setup sounded great!!

I do appreciate the review and i am very pleased to see your excitement and satisfaction with the new suspension.

We pride ourselves on the work we produce and as Chris (tech who worked on your car) said, its what we here for, so we will do whatever it takes to make our customer happy with the final product! I am sad to see you go (and jealous at the same time!) but you'll be able to tell all the Cali folk of your awesome shop back in FL ;).
