Fog Lights - Premium vs Limited
 

Will the premium have a big blank spot where the round fog lights are? I've heard the light bar above is standard, but the fogs aren't. Are they just gonna leave that big round hole?

From the pics I've seen it doesn't appear there's going to be a round hole, just horizontal slats under the LED bar.

There's a black plastic housing below the bar (or which the bar is incorporated to), as described by Longhorn.

All the pics I've seen have the holes, can someone link to the pics that don't have the hole?

I dislike the BRZ spoiler too. TRD one looks pretty good except that it's not functional.

It would look nicer if it were black or CF accents... Aftermarket, make CF duckbill spoiler! That'll look good on every color

That's not a USDM BRZ though. USDM might have the pieces as pictured in the red one above.

haha, of course not, since the car is coming out in japan first...

So I'd have to get non-USDM pieces if I don't like the horizontal plastic bits that protrude towards the center? I like the cleaner ones on the WRB above. Fogs or not, I guess I just don't like the DRL bars.

yea, like it's been stated, the only ones with the blank hole will be the RA models in japan...

I'm sure you'll be able to find them soon enough after release if you want them.

if you get the optional fog lights for the usdm premiums, the "kit" will come with the housing/insert with a fog light hole, so you replace the whole piece...

why would you want a housing with a pseudo-fog light?

it's crazy how much the RA model is "gutted"... only comes with the driver's seat!?

The protrusions. Housings without DRL don't have 'em. Those are the ones I want. Don't need fogs or DRL here. :iono:

Don't know if this is here or there....but, For what it's worth to anyone, the Fog lights in these cars are going to suck. I noticed in the Manual that the Bulbs are 24 watts as opposed to the usual 55watt. They're borderline likely to be decoration.

Im also of the opinion the foglights don't add much to the look of the front end on this particular car. The FR-S does better with fogs too.

heh, i wonder how that would go..I like the JDM yellow on imprezas. I don't know if i like yellow fogs on 2 door cars, maybe you can change my mind..lol

sorta depends on the ext. color as well... i might just go with the bulbs only, not necessarily lamin-x it...
