The formula!! (borrowed from the GTPlanet's Cool Wall)

The scale goes from a 10 to -10 with a 10 being an absolute "perfect" Sub-Zero with -10 being the lowest of the low. In terms of scale a Sub-Zero vote is 10, Cool is a 5, Uncool a -5 & Seriously uncool being a -10. Essentially you put the percentage of total votes inside each category.... multiply by the category weight, divided by the total votes and wah-la fairity lol.

Members vehicle suggestions are more than welcome, but will only be selected in THIS THREAD ONLY. Oh and only one suggestion per post. Cars will be picked on a first come first serve basis so (so start suggesting!!). Suggestions will only be picked if they meet the following criteria:

Criteria:
- Must have a picture of the car
- Must include general specs (power, weight, 0-100km/h etc..)
- Only productions cars atm (no one offs, bikes, etc.. for now)

Lets get zee party started

What's not to love? Haha

It's compared to the original E30 M3 in terms of fun and enjoyment and it doesn't carry the douche stereotype like the current M3 does.

Plus....scramble boost (overboost) button? Instant sub zero

ZarWolf 07-11-2013 08:55 PM

This is actually a cool idea to do, I've yet to see anyone else do it online. One suggestion I'd make is to leave the polls open for five days rather than three, gives more people a chance to vote.

I also have two car suggestions for future voting.

Mazda RX-7 (FD3S)
http://flameroad.com/pics/Mazda/b1/f...a-RX7-RS_7.jpg
The Specs
Production: 1992 - 2002
Style: 3-Door Liftback
Engine: 2-Rotor Twin Turbo (252 hp / 217 lb-ft to 276 hp / 231 lb-ft)
Transmission: 5-speed Manual or 4-speed Automatic
Layout: FMR
Weight: 2,500 lbs
0-60: 4.9 seconds

Honda NSX (Original)

The Specs
Production: 1990-2005
Style: 2-Door Coupe

Transmission: 5- / 6-speed Manual or 4-speed Automatic
Layout: RMR
Weight: 2,954 lbs
0-60: 5.1 seconds

There is one of the Gran Turismo forums, but no place else (to my knowledge)

and yeah i'll probably make it 5 days (again)

Oh and only one suggestion per post lol (you can submit one after your car has been voted on just to keep things fair)

Oh, this and zygrene 's suggestion of the R32 GT-R would make for some interesting votes I think. Both cars seem to have a love/hate following and it'd be interesting to see how they end up.

Honestly, I'll be very surprised if this one doesn't reach sub-zero; the M600 is an amazing car. Yahama-tuned, twin turbo Volvo-based V8 with an ungodly amount of power in a super light chassis with no aids - it's one of the few cars that will still try to kill you just for driving it.

Here's the specs to make it easy:

Definitly!!

Small british sports car companies are always cool. Oh unlike TVR, you'd actually look cool driving it and you can still glamor that it's just as unforgiving & dangerous as the formers

Pagani Zonda R

http://carimgs.mi9.com/pagani/3755/2...da-r-index.jpg

The Specs
Production: 2009 (15 produced)
Style: 2-Door Coupe
Engine: 6.0 L AMG V12 (740 hp at 8500 rpm and 524 lb·ft)
Transmission: Xtrac 672 6-speed sequential manual (one-offs like the 760LH built for Lewis Hamilton could be ordered with 6-speed manual)
Layout: RMR
Weight (dry): 2359lb
0-60mph: ~3.2s

rice_classic 07-19-2013 01:20 PM

So the Rotary FD is subzero but the Alfa 8C is only cool. They should change places, I mean wtf is wrong with people? The 8C is marvelous and the FD has that awful engine in it.

I am disappoint.

Opinions are opinions... a lot of people value light weight and high revving engines (even if it's an unreliable Rotary).

HunterGreene 07-19-2013 02:28 PM

Ok, Here is my suggestion...Gotta have something other than supercars and sports cars on here, right?

NISSAN LEAF

http://www.digitaltrends.com/wp-cont...r-1024x640.jpg

The Specs
Production: 2011-present
Style: 4-Door sedan
Engine: Synchronous electric motor (80 kw/ ~107 hp & 187 ft-lb (all available IMMEDIATELY))
Transmission: Single speed reduction gear
Layout: FWD (like you care)
Weight (dry): ~3300 lbs
0-60mph: 9.9s (unofficially)
MPG: 129-102 (equivalent)

TylerLieberman 07-20-2013 04:57 PM

^ I'm gonna say the LEAF is sub zero.

Everybody is just posting a bunch of fan boy JDM and European cars that everybody wants to own or can't afford.

There are more than just our car, 20 year old Japanese cars, and $400,00+ European cars people...

I can already tell you this is going to be seriously uncool

You can't drive it on the road, you can't drive it on 95% if race tracks because it's to load, so it would scare away any girls within 3 miles of you... and it's the Zonda variant 148450764203x^7

It's essentially 2.1 million dollars of pointlessness

This being said I'd still drive one, kill my self a minute into the lap and be completely satisified entering the perly gates on fire though :party0030:

Oh, I absolutely acknowledge all of those things. But, do any of them really matter for the average Joe who obviously can't afford one? JUST LOOK AT IT!

Kido1986 07-20-2013 10:37 PM

CTS-V Wagon
http://image.motortrend.com/f/roadte...r-burn-out.jpg

I LOVE these things and want my BRZ, this and an FD RX-7 all together in my garage. Dream lineup.

556hp
6.2L Supercharged V8
0-60mph in 4.0 seconds
6 speed manual or automatic
4250lbs curb weight
Magnetic dampers that provide amazing grip

There is a lot of hate for this car but there is also a lot of love. Non-car people think its just a nerdy wagon. Car guys cower when one pulls up at the traffic light.

I. Want. One!

Drove an automatic and loved it, though I'd definitely want it with the row-your-own option

Figured I would change it up since everybody just wants to post supercars, muscle cars, and 20 year old jdm fanboy cars. We need more variety, even if they aren't necessarily the coolest of cars:

Luxury. Lexus. Lovely.

And seriously.... A caterham? 99.99% of people here will never own or drive one just likr numerous other submissions.

Pretty much every car here, besides the saab is some type of sports/sporty car. Refer to the actual wall and notice how many different types of vehicles there are. Hybrids, luxury, sports, exotic, and simple day to day cars. Cant have a cool wall if every car posted is some sports car that everybody is gonna say cool or sub zero.

Change it up

Technically speaking the Viggen would be is classified as a sports sedan/coupe (and finding one is next to impossible), its the 2000's equivalent of todays Focus RS's or Megane's, raw FWD that would blow the doors off your average RWD car

But yeah I agree..... In terms of diversity, the wall is failing hard atm lol

There great up until they try to torque steer you into a guardrail or a tree ><

Other than that, one of the best 5 people cargo hauler, highway sleeper rocketships money can buy... that is assuming you can find a decently maintained one :P

6speed_Sam 07-25-2013 09:14 PM

I know what you mean about bad tq steer. Had a 98 s/c grand prix with 340hp/380tq...talk about mad pulling. Better make sure you have the wheel straight when you floor it. lol

I'd put the R33 GTR into Uncool. Simply because it looks like a 2 door maxima and is the model most likely to be driven by ****heads here in Australia.

R34 and R32 are way cooler.

ZarWolf 07-26-2013 04:13 PM

After seeing my first one in person, I have to suggest this to the wall:

Mazda (Atenza) 6 Sedan
