just bought my FR-s!
So I just bought my FR-s last Saturday with 11 miles. the only thing is that my car didn't come with an owners manual..... I immediately told the salesman and he told me he would get me one in 2 weeks and gave me an I-O-U receipt. does anyone have a link or anything to an owners manual in the meantime? thanks a lot in advanced.

Well don't disable the traction control and do NOT rev past 4k rpm.

Congratulations on the car. You will will find it difficult to not want to drive the car every waking moment. Got mine just over a week ago and have just over 1000 miles on it already just driving around town. You will absolutely love it.
Now for the obligatory, pics or it didn't happen :D |
I tried putting pics but It says I have to get approval by a moderator :iono:

Btw you asked why not to disengage traction control and don't go past 4000 RPM but vary the RPMs, that's the break in procedure per manual instructions, and you do that for 1000 miles. Some of the people here in the forum even took the added unnecessary step of changing the oil a bit early then returning it back to the normal maintenance schedule and changing the oil again at 7500 miles. Best of luck to you sir and enjoy the FR-S I hope to be a fellow owner as well in the coming months!:party0030::thumbup: |

I wish I had never read about the stupid "chirping". I thought I noticed funny noises from the engine, and now I know it's not my imagination!

Nice pics.
