Help Name My New Puppy!

The puppy is a black lab / american pit bull mix. (Updated, he's actually lab husky)
This is what he looks like right now

I've got a few ideas but I would honestly love to hear more, some of the suggestions my friends have given seem incredibly generic but here's the list so far.

Seems like the only thing I'm missing is Toyota related names.

I added a poll, want to see what you all think is best. After some good results we will choose from the top few that we like. Indecision at it's finest huh.

What I've got so far:
Torque
Sparky (Sparkplug)
Clutch
Yenko
Nos
Sonic (likely)
Gauge (likely)
Stig (likely)
Chassis
Turbo
Camber (likely)
Boost
Apex
Lugnut (likely)

FT86c suggestions:
Boxer (likely)
Sludge (maybe)
Beige (maybe)
Beans (lol)
Scooby (goooood)
Strut or Coil (nice)
Lag (lol)
Cricket (lol I'll see if his mouth makes noises when he eats or "drinks" haha)
Hachi or Roku (nice)
Jack (for the thread on page 2)

Thanks guys

Haha, maybe if he was more of an aggressive breed. He just seems like a goofy friendly dog so far.

Ok, no more joking here are some REAL suggestions:

Nitro
Scooby (86 related right?)
Strut
HIDs (Because dogs fart with HIGH INTENSITY and constantly DISCHARGE)
Lag (If he is a slow learner)
Brembo
Dip (For the torque dip in the 86)

Yeah I'm trying to deviate from non-american related names because of the breed combo.

I might be leaning towards Sonic because of his blue eyes, or Camber.

EAGLE5 07-02-2013 11:18 AM

Just make sure that Trouble or Danger is his middle name.

Good ones! Scooby, wow how did that pass me up. Strut looks good too, Lag is possible due to his goofiness.

If my friend can send me pics then I can get them on here finally to show you all what we're dealing with.

"black lab / american pit bull mix." That's an interesting mix. Does this mean that he will rescue you after he bites you? I'll name him "Oreo".. if he's white between the legs.

Ignorance at its best.

dsmx17 07-02-2013 03:38 PM

IIRC Yorkies are the most likely breed to bite someone, and have the highest % of bites in the US.

You dog racist bastard.

supra2nv 07-02-2013 03:42 PM

I named my doggy kismet after the MIT emotional intelligence robot. next doggy, maybe name him aibo if you don't want the name...

lol:)

Pitbulls, rotts, and mastiffs kill people. Hardly any other dog does. Maybe I somehow missed all the yorkie deaths on the list.

The term is probably a breedist.

Are you or have you ever been a big Oreilly or limbaugh listener or a libertarian?

Show me where I said FATAL attacks, I said bites, as did the post I quoted.

Size and strength have to do with fatalities obviously. Just like a .50cal will be more likely to cause death compared to a .22cal, but I digress that is not the point.

Right. Which is why nobody cares about Yorkies attacking but many care about pits attacking. I wasn't saying you were wrong. I have no idea about it. I was just saying that your point was largely irrelevant.

My point was, and is, that regardless of the breed any dog can bite, some are more likely than others but not the ones people assume and it pisses me off, like Pits. Peoples little bark boxes are more aggressive than my pit bulls. The point of you saying I have an irrelevant point is pointless.

dsmx17 07-02-2013 05:48 PM

Also, sorry to thread jack. OP
