anyone else in Arkansas, that is interested in buying in a brz or frs

Booked order for BRZ at Riverside in Little Rock today.

I'm planning on getting an FR-S in Little Rock. Been talking to Landers and North Point. Haven't put down a deposit yet, but with the price announcement this week I'm going to go this weekend and see about putting down some money.

Also, does anybody know of a track around here?

Riverside in LR and Adventure in NWA are the only dealers. As to racetracks, Hallett outside Tulsa is your best/closest option.

This thread is kind of quiet... Heading to Memphis to pick one up in the morning. An FR-S that is. Couldn't wait any longer, and all the dealerships here are intent on forcing the BeSpoke stereo down our throats. I plan to put my own custom stereo in the car so I'm not spending $895 for that. :thumbdown:

That said, anyone on here in the Little Rock area want to meet up once we have our cars?

I have an Argento FR-S coming in soon, Landers Scion in LR. As for tracks, Hallett or maybe Memphis if they reopen the road course. SCCA Auto-x has pretty good following/group.

My BRZ should be arriving in the next 2 days at Adventure Subaru in Fayetteville. I think they sold 5 out of their 8 total allocated. Currently have a premium WRB auto in the showroom.

I just picked up my FR-S today... very fun. Not straight line fast (yet!) but very fun in the twisties. Pretty happy thus far!

So, now that we've got a few here on the streets in the Little Rock area, any plans for a meet-up or anything? I know of two here on the Air Force base (mine and a Whiteout, pretty sure it was the one I looked at at Landers the other day when I stopped by to tell them to take me off their list), but I haven't met the owner yet and I'm not sure if he's on this forum.

Slowly but surely they are becoming more and more popular. I imagine it will be a hot selling car for a while. Demand is definitely greater than supply right now. We should get a lil group together sometime. I know quite a few people in the LR area, all the "usual" hangouts etc. I haven't see any other AR peeps on here...

PS love the Red Wings, I'm from outside of Toledo, OH so it comes with the territory. Been in AR since like '03 after I got out of the USMC.

Where are these "usual" hangouts that you speak of? PM me if need-be.

I'll shoot you a PM about meeting spots. There is a lunch today @ Buffalo Wild Wings for the WOT Car Club from 1pm-???. I'll probably be there around 3-315pm because my gf has to work. Really not going up for the lunch, as we have other business to tend to, but I'll try to make an appearance. Most of the guys I know and am friends with are domestic guys tho... lots of Mustangs etc. Wasn't bad when I was in a mean 4dr but I'm definitely not fast enough to roll with them anymore, unless we go cruise the twisties.

I bought a WRB Limited MT from Riverside about May of last year and waited til Sept. for it to arrive. Had it for about a month when I accidently ran a red light on University. A guy turning across the lane hit me on the drivers side. I did a 180 and my back wheels hit a curb and pretty much became pancakes. It was totaled.(Will work on getting pics of it) So I bought another one but this one was an AT Premium. Bought it on impulse to have another BRZ knowing i was gonna hate the transmission. Had the AT from November up until last week when I traded it for an Argento MT FR-S. So now I'm on my 3rd BRZ/FRS. Only things I miss about the BRZ are the headlights and the badge.

That's where i bought my Whiteout FR-S. i really like WRB i may have to go see what they would do on a trade.

Im sure they would gladly kick you in the balls and charge you near new price for the other.... all in all prolly cost you another 10k

Yeah not worth it. there is a pretty good size scratch on the quarter panel too i wouldn't want to mess with getting fixed. Nice car though, they are asking $28,500.

Figured they'd do that. Almost what I paid for the car new...as for the scratch, they must have done that cause I know for sure that it wasnt there when I had it.

28500 for it used!!!!!!! I should go test drive it and heckle them down on it... then when say nah... ill buy one new.

Yeah I don't remember ever seeing that, so either I missed it completely or it happened there.

Yeah i figured that i'm surprised they wouldn't have it fixed on a 2013 though.
