Sit and stare?

Anyone else just sit and stare at their FRS? I'm always sitting in my garage day dreaming and planning mods. This car is a cult! Lol

hmong337 06-25-2013 02:30 AM

I've been doing that for YEARS with my MR2. But I have a feeling I will be doing the same with the FRS I will be getting soon.

FRSfan111 06-25-2013 02:32 AM

I saw ur mr2 thread. It's almost exactly how I wanted one. But with my tickets from my civic I can't justify insuring another car for a year or so lol.

Now, what on earth would lead you to believe that I would do that ... :bonk:

Whitigir 06-25-2013 10:23 AM

you better off staring at your GF or Wife LOL! Thanks for the picture

Ryuu0u 06-25-2013 10:32 AM

I've always dreamed about building a man cave/garage hybrid just to fill this purpose lol

Beyer Subaru 06-25-2013 10:34 AM

Yep, guilty as charged.

Oh yes, I often just stare at my car and drool.
After 4 months the novelty should have worn off, but it hasn't.

And hopefully it won't ever wear off - like my turbo Forester which is now 11 years old and still gives me a big rush whenever I WOT her.

It's crazy because I've owned several very special cars over the past 40+ years, and I've never felt like this before.
There's something quite eerie about owning an 86 which can't be explained...
Just enjoy it. :party0030:

Maybe not!

switchlanez 06-25-2013 11:58 AM

Nah, I stand and stare. But having something to sit on in the garage would make it easier.

I do this after I spend hours detailing it. I grab a beer and sit in the garage for a minute and enjoy my work. I also try to get over all the new rock chips I find on the bumper. :laughabove:

Yep! I definitely do that too lol.

FRSupra 06-25-2013 03:06 PM

I'm surprised at how much people love this car. I feel this way about almost every Toyota sports car. Even the last gen Celica being FWD I still love them.

RurumariGhost 06-25-2013 03:09 PM

I park mine right outside the window at work so I can stare at it all day

RIPTRD71 06-25-2013 03:10 PM

At least i am not the only one! :party0030:

I do that when I go out to eat. I park where I know I can sit to watch it.

BRZPDX 06-25-2013 03:23 PM

I turn back and look at my car like 4 times after parking it in a parking garage. I park next to a RS4, +2012 E-class, +2013 Cayman and it still looks bad ass. Although my car is modded and the rest is stock lol.

BadMoon 06-27-2013 08:20 AM

Pretty much how I feel every morning. "Good morning, I'm here."

whaap 06-27-2013 11:12 AM

Yeah, I look at it admiringly. What amazes me more is when I drive it. I know it's probably the cheapest sports car made but the Walter Mitty in me has a hard time not feeling like I'm driving an exotic. And that's after owning the car for over 9 months.
