Mach V Colossal Open House & Charity Car Show VIII: July 27, 2013
 

The 2013 Mach V Mega Colossal Meet and Charity Car Show will happen on Saturday, July 27, 2013.

This will be our eighth annual charity event, with proceeds going to benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the National Capital Area. Last year we raised more than $2000.

As in previous years, it'll be a car show, with prizes for Best Engine Bay, Best Exterior, and Best of Show, plus a bonus prize for Car We'd Most Like to Own Ourselves.

There'll be a voluntary $10 donation to attend. Registration for the car show will be $25 in advance, $45 the day of the show. See the link below for registration info.

Car show setup will be from 9 am to 10 am, with the event beginning at 10 am and lasting until 3pm. Tricycle races are at noon. The coveted show trophies will be awarded starting at 2pm.

Other attractions: Super special deals on high-performance parts! Free stuff giveaways! Burgers and hot dogs! Music, maybe of the live variety! Paintless dent repair! Other attractions, so crazy I haven't even thought them up yet!

I'll be out of town but I picked up a K&N drop in filter today from Mach V. I didn't realize but I used a detailer (name escapes me) that is now right in the same complex. I used their mobile detail services.

Not sure if I'll be able to make this one, but I'll give it a shot!! Hope to have the header on by then.

Ditto, lol. Wheels and a very small drop won't get me anything but overlooked.

Great event Dan, I will look forward to future shows/meets. Hopefully eventually I can snag one of those cool trophies :)

VRY did an amazing job on FRS, I will definitely have to use them again.

I am looking for the guy who was parked next to me with the Galaxy Blue BRZ with the Nexus tablet, bluetooth OBD device and the adjusted clutch pedal. I didn't get your forum name and wanted to get some more info on your tablet/bluetooth device.

A couple of people mentioned that setup to me. I also didn't get to see it. Sounds interesting!

Thanks to everyone who came out. It was as great day -- big turnout, and surprisingly pleasant weather.

What is the unit that actually plugs into the OBDII port?

It's worked great for me so far. I use it with my Galaxy Nexus running Torque Pro.

Just got it in the mail today, I'll let you know.

Just got Subaru's Driven magazine couple of days ago...Dan's shop and his shop car have a few pages in there...good read.
