Anyone from Brampton/Caledon area?
 

Hey guys!

I've had my car for about 3 weeks now and love it! however I want to check out some other members rides and get some ideas for some upgrades and just to compare and chat! I was curious if there is anyone on the forums from Ontario living in the Brampton / Caledon area? and if so is there a local club or meet up you guys have? Last year before I bought my car I saw a line of FR-S's outside a Petro at the corner of hwy 10 and mayfield, and wondered if it was a local club on this forum.

Anyways if anyone is in the area and knows other FR-S drivers, I'd love to meet up and chat bout this awesome car!

I'm near Castlemore area. Just got my car 3 weeks ago. Don't know of any Brampton groups. I know sometimes people go on group drives..maybe you saw a group just fueling up there at 10/mayfield.

I guess we'll see how many people we have and we'll start a group of our own.

I'll be getting my BRZ later this week... I'm at Wanless and Creditview.

Funny thing is I've seen a bunch in Brampton...I would think most of them are on this forum but I could be wrong :(

Yea, I'm good friends with people at the Brampton dealership and I know they have been selling the cars like crazy, but I haven't seen too many FR-S's around. Hopefully they will join this site and we can get a few drives and group meets going!

Love this car and it would be awesome to compare it to the BRZ as well.

I am in castlemore as well. If we have few people who are willing to meet up...i suggest lets plan a quick meet for tomorrow night?

It will be cool to see what others have done/plan to do with their ride and chat.

I'll be coming to the Piazza Del Sole meet tomorrow night in Woodbridge. (Weston Road/Hwy 7) The one you told me about... Hoping people from here go there as well. I think I'm going to start a thread about it.

Well does anyone know a good spot to meet up in the Brampton / Castlemore ? perhaps a tim hortons or something?

im new to brampton, dont really know the area much, we could meet at the great lakes plaza where the future shop is and convoy it over to the piazza del sole meet with agent365?! love convoys. ill be sure to bring my gopro too!

i am down for the convoy. If few more people are in it would be fun... lets meet up hwy 7 (Queen st) and Airport plaza around 8:30 - 9ish? we all can head down together then.

ps: is the Piazza Del Sole meet confirmed for tonight?

I'm down for the convoy as well. I'll be at the Airport/queen st plaza in Brampton at the Canadian Tire at 8:30.

I called one of the stores near Piazza Del Sole and they said there's no official meet up but they assume since its Thursday and the weather is good, that people would come out.

Piazza del sole is on. I'm there and there are lots of cool cars here. Parked next to an MR2.

Tim hortons on Bavaria and McLaughlin

Dudes... I just drove my FR-S to new york city and back (past 2 days) Put on just over 1600 KMs on it round trip. It was an awesome drive...scenic areas were really cool... I brought my camera with me and when I took it out, the battery was dead and had no charger. Oh well .. still was a great trip no problems with the car. Used all kinds of gas brands.. From Mobil...Shell...Citgo.. I was hoping that the fuel pump issue would subside after all that continuous driving but it didn't. Toyota is ordering me a new one anyways.

Just got me thinking...once we all meetup and become familiar with eachother...we should all go to Ottawa or MTL or something.

That would be a wicked idea to go for a trip, ive been dying to get this car out there.

As for Bovaird and McLaughlin, that timmies is a good area to meet, lots of parking and the Canadian tire is right next to it if lots of people come.

We should do something in the next couple of days.

Meeting somewhere
 

We should meet somewhere central to everyone. Maybe 410 and Bovaird at the Trinity Commons Shopping Centre? Near the starbucks..

If anyone else is reading this... we could all possibly meet at Trinity then take the convoy down to Piazza del sole on Thursday...

Everyone weigh in on how you feel about that.

Lets go to timmies tonorrow night on boviard near Canadian tire I think.

I figure the canadian tire parking lot towards the end, near where it meets the timmies parking lot, that should be a good spot.

Maybe ill PM the other guys who commented in this thread and see if they want to make it out.

wish I could make it but unfortunately work evening shifts for the next few weeks 3-11:15 so will not be able to make it during the weekday.

Also just took the car to Buffalo and back for a trip and man was it ever a fun drive!

I'll see if I can stop by too.

So when do you guys want to meet up again? we thinking next Wednesday or later on this month? because I think I have a few people that want to show up and see and chat about the car! lets set something up!

Is anyone going to the midsummer worlds collide meet this coming Sunday at Northwest Scion?

BRZ world is arranging a pre-meet at "cars & coffee" at bayview village which is at bayview & sheppard in the east end... Which is way too far for me and probably the rest of you.

Do you guys wanna pick a spot in Brampton to meet up at before the BBQ at northwest and drive in together?

I know I'm going to be getting my windows tinted that morning, so I will get there right around the beginning, but if you guys are meeting somewhere early let me know and I'll shoot over there if I can.
