3 Attachment(s)
HI All,
I am looking for front grille for BRZ, so I contact with Grillcraft. They told me that everything is ready for BRZ which only need to finalize the hardware. They are look for someone who live in Southern California area with BRZ. (I live in PA > <) They will happy to provide you with a Free Grille to who can provide them their Vehicle (BRZ). Please contact with them. http://www.grillcraft.com/contact/ Here is their FRS result. Thanks. |
do you know if they're going to do any cutting on the front bumper?

I do not think so, but I am not sure the detail. Please contact with them. Thanks. |
In for updates
|
According to Grillcraft there is no cutting to install the mesh grille. There's a guy with the Grillcraft grille on his FRS that I usually see in the morning when I go to work, makes me regret trading my FRS for an A4, but I have kids.
|
i sent them an email.
|
We just signed with GrillCraft to run the center portion of the grill for SEMA 2013. Yes according to the install you have to trim off some items and remove the original grill from the center of the bumper.
|
I made my own and mounted it behind the bars, there's a DIY floating around here somewhere
|
It looks worse than OEM...
|
Grillcraft told me that they have already found a vehicle to test the hardware.
I cannot wait to see the result for BRZ. Thanks a lot for your help. |
I like the black mesh on the FR-S.

Call me crazy but the moustache has grown on me  |
On the brz, it keeps the mustache, just adding the grille beneath. I'm heading down to pick it up now. Pics to come

doesn't look like it's compatible with the OEM license plate bracket? (i know most folks may not care).
do you know if the bumper cover needs to come off for installation? this interests me to protect the radiator from larger rock damage. |

Yep, need more pics! :)

Any idea on cost?

you can still see the horizontal slats that the normal bumper has.
Here's a borrowed pic from the SWP BRZ photo thread to show it stock: https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.n...98622910_n.jpg |
grillcraft offered to cut them out of the bumper for me. But, I kinda like the faint horizontal lines. That might be something someone is interested in. 30 minutes with a dremil...
Keep in mind, they are much more apparent in the dark background soft front light style photos. Mostly that is to show off the mesh. I'll take some "normal" photos outside this afternoon in full sun. As for price: it'll be up on their website probably by the end of the week or weekend sometime with their photos as well. www.grillcraft.com - Yes the bumper cover had to be removed to securely fasten it to the bumper. But if you wanted to go ghetto, you could ziptie it to the slats. But come on.... please do it right |
i like it - once the grillcraft label comes off :)
post install details when you get them please. |
They installed it for me, so cslntuee, when you get yours you'll have to do an install write-up.
|
I like it.
|
I like it. But the price of the F-RS variant is ~200... That seems kinda steep to me :(
