Posted above is a link to a fundraiser for my friend Katie. Diagnosed with stage 3 hodgkins lymphoma shortly after giving birth to her first child. She has been through a lot and I think we can help!

So if you're like me, you really enjoy meeting fellow 86 owners but you wish there was just more driving!!

This is a scenic cruise down the Mohawk trail in Western MA, stopping for lunch (and climbing a mountain, in the cars of course!) and ending in Katie's hometown of Leominster, MA at her favorite pub!

Donations to Katie's fund can be made online anytime, and cash donations will be collected at the event and presented to her from all of us!

9:30 AM Dunkin Donuts in Millers Falls, MA Just after intersection of Rt.63/Rt.2
9:45 AM Depart for Summit Rd.
11:30 AM Arrive at Summit of Mt. Greylock (Pictures!!)
12:15 PM Leave for Lunch (Golden Eagle, on Mohawk Trail)
1:15 PM Lunch Reservation (RSVP by July 4 Please!!!!)
2:45 PM Head to Classics Pub
4:45 PM Arrive at Classics Pub (We can stop several place for pictures or coffee on the way if the group wants to)
Enjoy ginger ale and the great ride!

I've got a few surprises in the works for you guys, hopefully some nice cars will be joining us on our journey ;)

I'd prefer neither of those days, but the 20th is easier for me to cancel my other plans.

Ok! I'd like to do it the 7th because the benefit fund is being presented July 14th, so if we can get the cruise in before then all the better. But if the majority want the 20th we may have to reschedule.

Went out over the weekend to make sure the summit road is open. Amazing drive! Hopefully more than 4 people can come, really great photo opportunities and a just a few of these...

I'll meet you at 9:30 between legs 1 and 2. However, can you confirm there's a Dunkin Donuts there?

If not, FYI there are many other nearby Dunkin Donuts. The one south of Orange is right off 202 and is at a gas station, though it'd mean your first leg would only be ~40 minutes.

I did a dry run to make sure the summit road was open, and I stopped at this Dunkin because it's roughly half way. It's right after the bowling alley on the right hand side. The parking lot should be plenty big enough for us! I didn't really worry about gas, but even if you have mods you should make it a few hours right? If we had to we could stop before the mountain.

OK cool. Not sure why it doesn't show up on Google maps, but I should've checked the Dunkin Donuts website before asking that :D

Guys, I hate to do it after having said I'd attend lunch but I can't make it tomorrow. Something's come up.

I already PMed @roflcopter yesterday that this was a possibility: I'm out.

I strained, sprained, or broke my right-hand at the beach yesterday... I was hoping it'd feel better when I woke up (so I could go on the drive today, and then get it checked at the doctor's office tomorrow), but instead I'm headed to the hospital for x-rays this morning.

When I left for the hospital, the shifter vibration was actually pretty soothing so I briefly considered instead going to Millers Falls. Then I tried upshifting to 5th. Ouch.
