I work at Walmart, and we just ordered more Hot Wheels. Hopefully it is the new batch with the FRS. I'll get my hands on these before any customer does. :D

Clembo 06-20-2013 07:35 AM

Thanks for the Link...

Just ordered one, hey, $9 won't break the bank and all I had to do was push a few buttons. We have 3 Wal-Marts and a Target here, none have them in their inventory yet. If and when they do I'll stock up but for now I can relax...

bcj 06-20-2013 11:51 AM

Had a look at target last weekend. They didn't even have the hotwheels hanging anymore.
They were all dumped in a bin at the end of an aisle. Have to dig through the whole thing just to see what's in there.
Not going to be any clean bubble packs there.

ichitaka05 06-20-2013 11:57 AM

Do want! I'll get both FR-S & BRZ!!

Mr.Frs 06-20-2013 02:47 PM

Goodluck finding them in stores...ive had people looking eveyrwhere and they are extremely hard to find...I hope they come out in stores though. Wouldnt mind getting a few more.

Part of the reason I bought a few at $5/each in case we can't get them or if they come out with a different version.

From what I heard there will be an "American release" so they probably will make a different one. Not too sure though.

Drftfan 06-20-2013 08:55 PM

I think I know who the seller is. Or at least the store. It isn't too far from my house so I will go check it out before I order one

Dadhawk 06-21-2013 10:38 AM

Difference in price is worth the hassle to me! Ordered.

I've been digging through bins looking for these recently. I did find a couple of nice panda AE-86 I picked up to go along with it. The good news is I won't feel bad about removing the AE-86s from the packaging because they were trashed from people digging past them.

Jond63 06-21-2013 11:11 AM

I ordered one too -- now I have the AE-86, 2000GT, and soon an FR-S!

FRSTRM 06-25-2013 09:02 PM

So... they are RHD, but still have the scion logo on them....

Brzetto 06-25-2013 09:29 PM

It depends on what part of the US you're in, for us Americans. The East Coast is the last to get the new stock.

DarkCard 06-25-2013 10:33 PM

Cant wait to find one of these

alexmotrix 06-25-2013 10:41 PM

I just got my whiteout 1/64 Kyosho and I can tell you for the price I paid, BUY ONE! Even the wheels are OEM, it's the best 15$ I spent on a diecast in a long time!

Dadhawk 06-26-2013 10:50 AM

1 Attachment(s)
New office toys. I bought an extra FR-S and plan to repaint to match mine at some point.

Mr.Frs 06-26-2013 11:14 AM

Here's my collection of Frs so far. HPI Raven Frs from dealership, Rocket bunny hot lava Frs built by model scientist corp, Hot wheel Firestorm Frs, FtHs concept from toyrus I got in 2010, Rmz diecast raven Frs.

Humm, I'm jealous!

n2oinferno 07-07-2013 09:01 PM

I found one at, of all places, Publix. The pinstriping on the side was flawed and my son wanted it, so I let him have it. If I find another one some day I'll keep it.

And it's RHD

Miniata 07-08-2013 02:09 AM

Looks like these are in the "N" cases of Hot Wheels, which based on past years won't hit the shelves on local stores until late July or early August. I'm tempted to get one earlier on ebay, but knowing they'll be available everywhere in a month for a dollar, I just can't bring myself to spend $6-8 each. I'll probably take at least one apart and swap different wheels on and paint it gray, like my BRZ.

You and I both, I am not blowing $7-$10 on a car that will more than likely be plentiful in a couple of weeks. Most of the mainline cars aren't hard to find, except for the Enterprise that sob was hard to find.

Demandred7 07-08-2013 03:36 AM

Got mine today from Walmart earlier today (I guess yesterday now).

Just found 2 of these locally and got them for my son. He was extremely excited to have his own FR-S. So you don't have to pay the $7-10+ on Ebay any longer. Strangely they're all RHD though...

I am not sure why they wouldn't just call it a GT86 or simply an 86. The car obviously has fogs, the JDM spoiler, and RHD. There are absolutely no RHD Scion's unless they are rebadged ones in Japan. It doesn't change the fact that I had to buy it.
Although they goofed on the FWD burn out unless that is standard image (I didn't check).

ML 07-09-2013 03:16 PM

I found one at Walmart last week, but it was only in a 3 pack.
