BRZ Front Splitter
 

hey guys,

a lot of people have been asking me about my splitter, so me and a buddy are gonna see if there is any interest and have a group buy.

here is what it looks like on my BRZ.

These are all over the s2000 community. they are functional. we dont have any data but we do have a lot of people who track with these and love them. further more if you dont track, this is a great way to protect your front bumper from scraping, especially you low guys.

we have also made a bunch for STi's.

we can make these in any shape you want, its made out of sheet aluminum, or we can make it out of polyurethane. mine is pretty simple design, and i love it.

prices will be around 300$ and would be less if more people bought it.

this is just a feeler, so if people are really interested we will make a vendor account and make these.

i'll update with more photos as time goes on.

I want something like this but I have an FR-S.

Can you tell us more about how it is mounted or just give us instructions?
Is it a two piece design?
How much shipping would you charger to 97015 or is shipping included in the $300 to USA buyers?

I really like how this looks, and for the 300$ price tag, I'm totally down to get one. But I would also like to know the answers to the questions the previous people are asking.. also how much would shipping to Ontario,Canada be ?

Shipping is included In Price. We can make em for an frs no issues. Its mounted with bolts to the bumper. We would suply all hardware. It would be predrilled so all ypud have to do is match it up, mark holes, drill and mount.

We can make a few designs or what ever people like. Ill have to check for shipping to canada.

If you're up for making one that fits the fr-s bumper, i'd be interested.

I've talked to my friends about doing this for a while now just never got around to it. I friend of mine has one on his S2000 and he's always talking about how much it protects his plastic lip and bumper. Nice job and good luck with the sales!

Ok so jive and i got together with the creator of the splitters and he now has a template for a stock brz bumper and a brz bumper with a lip on the front already. I told him i would post some pictures here so people would see more of what is being offered. Right now this is still just a feeler thread nothing is being sold!

can it mount to the bumper, itself? or do you need the STi lip?

Round out the edges of the canard slightly and I think that's perfect! I am looking to purchase the STi lip as well and use this mostly as a scrape guard. Can we also request the canards for the side skirts too? Thanks!

This is a lip and in no way a splitter. A true splitter goes all the way under the car to actually direct airflow. Looks the look though on the outside.

Whats going on with the side skirts? Did you make those aswell?

please read before bashing. i stated that we can make it as big as pepole want. some might want it only as a lip, we can make it go as far back as people want. mine IS an actual splitter.

i made the canards for the skirts myself. the sideskirts themselves are from HPT motorsports.

If I can get one just like this, how it looks like 2 separate pieces, add me to your list. Mine will be for an FR-S

I didn't mean for it to come off as a bash, and when I said it looks the part I meant it looks good. Just meant the one pictured was more of a lip cause it didn't go far back. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

In regards to making it a functional splitter with further extension backwards:

Are there potential points to secure the splitter at the bumper and further back?

Would the price point be fairly similar to the shorter bumper protector version?

the actual splitter is the bottom piece you see here. the other piece is the lip kit. the splitter will act as a sort of protection from bumps and scrapes.

Any update to as to whats going on with the development of this ? Perhaps an ETA of some sort if it were possible ?

Definitely would be interested if you could make a splitter for my PWJDM lip. Sorry it's the best picture of my car/lip I could find.

if its a true splitter, where does the bottom part mount to? where the undertray bolts are? and is the price still $300 if its an extend version?
