It was so epic the Red BRZ has to come out of the tunnel three times in a flyby |
That was some of the worst camera work I've ever seen. Completely unable to keep the car in frame, unsteady. I know zero about filming but it was bad enough for me to seriously notice. I liked what they were shooting but the finished product sucked.
|
So that's soft car-porn?
|
good cars nice action, but filming kinda suck.
|
Thanks, I needed that.
|
Just listen to that engine..... :eyebulge:
BRRRRrrrr.....BRrrrrr.....BRRRRRRRrrrr.... my gawd the engine is so nasty i want to go get nasty with it too! :bellyroll::burnrubber::evil: |
Loved the long, drawn out close up + gradual zoom in of the stitching. Probably the best part. Now I know what red thread looks like.

Anyone notice the difference of how quickly the revs drop in the video on the track vs in the initial rev sweep video? Looks like a light weight flywheel is on it with the video from the track. If the revs drop that fast when actually driving it, this will be a great drive, unlike a lot of current cars where the revs just hang between shifts for emissions. |

Saw that. He didn't move his left hand to shift. But... why would an auto allow the revs to drop faster than a manual? The same emissions settings would be in place for both manual and auto, no? Also, it wouldn't make sense to make an auto-trans car more responsive than a manual trans car when the car in question is to be a "driver's" car. |
Ah, goodness, although it makes me feel like I should be getting ready for some epic quest to the evil-fiend infested marshes.
|
Maybe they don't want to keep the revs up when the car is in neutral.
|
For all countries with km/h instead of mph:
Did you notice the shift point with the auto is above 100 km/h (this is the standard sprint) |
I just posted this, got deleted because of this. Did a search for Motegi w/ no results.
It's Motegi, not Montegi OP. Anyway, what i said was that it looks like it handles well on set surfaces. He braked from 155 km/h (90 mph) to 65 km/h (40 mph) pretty fast & cornered at the 40 mph. Pretty darn good for a RWD car w/ narrow tires on a wet track. The shifts looked like an auto too, but the video at the beginning shows a manual. So i don't know if that was from another car or the guy just switches gears that fast. If it was an auto the auto looks like it switches swimmingly. |
