Looks good. Any problems with the intake?

DIM 06-09-2013 12:21 PM

I personally hate the murdered out look, but to each their own.

So if all black is "murdered out" what would it be if I did everything on my Whiteout in clear lenses or color matched?.....

Just questioning the opposite of the above, I by no means plan on "ghosting"... or "life-ing out"...or "frosting" my car :lol:Just being a weisenheimer.

I really want that one because it looks easy for a novice like me to install. The Perin seems to be one of the best but I know I would jack something up trying to install it.

Don't worry about installation, it's easy. It just tends to run rich and causes the car to shake and stall at times.

Yeah, I almost bought the Perrin, but I didn't want to have to take the bumber off to install it and every time I want to clean the filter.

I've noticed mine doing that.....Is there a reason why the intake causes that and is it fixable in an effort to keep the injen intake?

The only fix I have seen is to modify it to a "CAI". If ANYONE has any other fix for this, let me know. ECU has been reflashed and updated and still no fix. I'd really like to put it back on...

When I first installed it, I would stall at the most random times, even while in motion. It was weird. I've reset the ECU like four times and now it seems to be fine, but getting off on first gear will cause it want to stall at times, so I have to give it blip the gas a little more than I used to to prevent it from stalling. It can be annoying at times.

OICU812 06-13-2013 02:25 AM

Those tails are tinted "SUPER" dark holy crap, my Valentis are almost too dark for me really those look ya bit too dark..

I have a whiteout with color matched wheels. ... so the whiteout is whited out? Lol... or lifed out:bellyroll: I still need to get clear side markers. Not a fan of the amber.
