UPDATED WITH COILS

So I got some ccw classics last night, before anyone says about the stretch is extreme i know. They came with new tires and I will ride them out before I get new ones. These tires offer more grip than the stock tires.

Front- 16x8.5 +14 205/40
Rear- 16x9.5 +16 215/40

No rub no nothing but there is slight poke. Ordering Stance coils with LCA end of june so I will update the OP with pics of that.

I haven't seen a BRZ/FRS on CCW classics with decent fitment yet and judging from the fitment you posted, I can keep that streak going.

Your pictures don't work, btw.

Yea links broke for some reason I'll fix once I'm at home

*edit* fixed

As stated in op this is stock suspension so the fitment is wonkers.

put the stocks back on for now LAWL

that's a lot of poke though. You going to get any fender work done?

Dunno how much just drop/camber alone is going to help you

Redlinedfrs86 06-09-2013 02:07 PM

Love them .... Now slam that

Going coils end of the month, also nothing will make me go back to stock, will roll the fenders and around -2 or -3 camber will do the job for the rear.

Did you buy them from vic? they look good man, will look even better with a drop and possibly some taller sidewall tires.

WolfsFang 06-09-2013 08:37 PM

No I bought them on cl, they use to be on a vw. Once tires are gone I will be getting 235 front and 255/55 or 50 rear.

You wont need fender rolling. Once you drop it, its gonna camber in nicely. Should work with just adding the coils on there and alignment right after to adjust toe.

Love the wheels. Can never go wrong with CCW's. Dont have anything against "stanced" cars, I actually enjoy looking at them but I for one will never go that route. Just cant stand any tires under 235/225 width

jdm-az-fuk 07-10-2013 09:06 AM

I would like them a lot more if they were 17" or 18"

OICU812 07-10-2013 10:03 AM

Dem be tiny wheels brah :confused0068: ;)

So Low! :w00t:

I used to drive a prelude that was so low, I couldn't stick my tennis shoe under the front bumper. Drive slow and go at an angle. LOL!

xxscaxx 07-10-2013 02:01 PM

saw your car at the RC Mega Meet. Once you get it dialed in with the LCA and new coils it will be mint. Car just poked a little too much for my taste but you can't make classics look bad :)

(maybe thats because I have classics as well..lol)

Don't cry to us when you run into an unseen sewer grate that takes out the entire underside of your car.

ok i won't, this is not my first lowered car. Also I dont know if you have been under your car yet but we have this thing called skid plates.

Dude I'm planning on going maybe even 15". If an S15 can bull off 15" then and FRS with the right tires can. I think you need to get a thicker tire to complete the locck you're going for. I had a similar 16" setup (replica wheels, though) on my old S13 and once I ditched the stretched tire it looked great.

I have switched to 225/45 all around now and just need to lower it some more. Depending on the weather tomorrow ill finish lowering it and throw some new pics up. As it sits there is a one finger gap compared the the 2 1/2 with the old tires.

jedichimp 12-30-2013 11:36 PM

They look so small tho. More photos after you dropped it more? That might help the cause.

diss7 12-31-2013 03:05 AM

This thing looks boss as fuck.

I'd like it more with if the rears were the same spec as the front.

Nice work.

Low&Slow 12-31-2013 04:04 AM

Not disrespecting/ hating, but your car looks like this to me..

http://i1322.photobucket.com/albums/...ps65e38588.jpg

I already think 17's are small, but 16's need to have a decent amount of tire to look right/ normal. To each their own i suppose!

jedichimp 12-31-2013 05:50 PM

"a much too much."

(you pretty much are though)

diss7 04-14-2014 12:56 AM

I'm going to order cr-01 meisters in 16x8.5" +13 all around for drifting, because of how this looks.

I'd run these specs daily, but car would be far too low. So will daily on 18x9 +35 meister s1r's, and track on the little wheels. Means I get 23mm lower CoG, just by swapping the wheels.
