Raleigh area anyone?
 

Any other FR-S owners in the Raleigh area? I've only seen two others on the road in the past year or so and both were guy drivers. I feel so alone haha.

I'm a fellow Raleigh Twins driver. I think all I've seen are guys driving these cars as well.

You talking about in waverly place on the first sat of the month? I used to go a lot with my ex boyfriend but that was before I got the fr-s. I haven't gone in a couple months cause I wouldn't know anyone and that'd just be awkward hahaha. Plus I haven't done anything to it yet.

Actually for June it has been moved to the Cary Crossroads movie theater parking lot. You don't need to have anything done to your car to bring it out there. I used to bring out my S2000 all the time and all it had was an exhaust.

I haven't been to a C&C since the fall, and this will be my first time going with the BRZ. Probably only going there from around 830-10 (headed to beach after) so if you want to come out I'll be there. I know it can be awkward, esp for women, but if you want to show - look for the white BRZ!

this saturday right? and that actually works out because i live about half a mile down the road from the movie theater haha. what time is a good time to go out where i can still park haha. i know when my ex and i used to show up we would get there at like 10 and it'd be packed.

This Saturday is still at waverly place in Cary. I believe next month July they start going to the theater parking. I should be there. :)

bds, if you want to get a good spot I would recommend showing up around 830-9. Kinda early I know, haha.

You are correct Andretti. Just looked at the FB page again last night, they had changed the location back to Waverly. So confusing!

Is your LS1 240 SX white? If so I think I've seen your car at Waverly before.

Yes my 240 is pearl white. It's made quite a few appearances out at c&c. Tomorrow ill be in my FRS matte blue.

Get there around 830 to get a good parking spot. I'm not sure where we're all parking but I'm just gonna park near the first frs/brz I see. If there aren't any yet, I'll park somewhere random haha.

yeah, it seemed like a great showing. hopefully next month in the new spot will be the same. my wife and daughter had a great time too. it was cool that there was a playground right in the middle of the shopping center - they headed for that pretty quickly after walking through the lot.

I missed this weeks meet because I'm out of town but hopefully I'll make it to the next one. I know Brett and some others went to CMP this week.

If someone in a white frs got honked at by another white one at southpoint mall that was me lol

Yeah that little playground is nice for bored kids haha. Have you ever been to waverly place before? It's really nice during the day when all the little shops are open. They just tore it down and rebuilt it a little under a year ago. It's very family friendly. Nice little shopping center.

I missed this weekend because I was out of town, but I'll be at the next one. Hey bds, we usually meet in the middle of the month for a little meet and dinner. They post up the place and time on our Facebook page - FT86 of the Carolina's, I believe. And I don't think I've seen your car around, I drive a white FRS with matte black wheels.

Someone else was telling me about that, I joined the Facebook page so ill check it periodically. I rarely get on Facebook though. Mine is white also, but I haven't done any mods yet. I have a grocery list of things I wanna do haha. I may or may not be at the next c&c. It happens to fall on my 21st birthday so I'll have to wait & see how I'm feelin hahah. Chances are I will be there.

I'm in the Brier Creek area. I'm the only Black BRZ i've seen in the area with tinited windows.

VERY NICE. I'll definitely want to check that out sometime after you've got it installed. I'm thinking of getting an UEL header before the year is over (early xmas gift to myself perhaps?:bellyroll: )

That's a good reason. I'm looking into them b/c if I go FI it'll be a supercharger
