Lowering/raising driver's seat?

Hi all -

Searched and couldn't find much on this.

Just got the FR-S a couple of days ago, read the owner's manual and saw that there was a lower/raise seat lever on the side of the driver's seat. I've been playing with it and I can't seem to figure out how it works. Can't lower it (or raise it) for the life of me.

Thanks!

Just pump it up and down.

Lift up on this handle to raise the seat and push down to lower the seat.

When it stops pumping, don't keep going. Its shitty plastic and it'll break off.

Don't ask.

my seat is on the lowest setting and I want to raise it a little bit but I can't lift the lever to raise the seat up anymore...I don't want to force and break it....or it might be broken already.

Pump it

Try it without you in the seat, similar to the picture with the arrow above. And don't grab on to it without a bit of mechanical sympathy, as stated above, it is just abs plastic.

It pumps once and the lever gets stuck/stiff so I didn't want to put more force on it.

Nothing better then 18 year old kids fixing your seat and not giving a sit.

Toyota service center at its finest.

You might already be at the maximum height. To find out, push (pump) downward and see if it moves the seat. Once it's down, pump up to raise it and see if that works.

My girlfriend is too short to drive this car.

...then again, maybe I should consider myself lucky.
