Xbox reveal today 10pm pacific
 

So to all the gamers out there what do you think is going to happen? Are they going to wait for E3 or just show the system or is this going to be the what Sony did for the PS4?

I reckon they are going to show the system today. Especially given that Major Nelson slated Sony for not showing the console at their reveal.

Maybe one of their features will be a console that doesn't have a 33% failure rate on it's first edition.

I'm on my 3rd 360 after getting one launch day. I'd still rather play it any day of the week over PS3.

Looking forward to what they'll do with the next one.

I owned all 3 systems, and the PS3 won. Even playing the same game on the two systems literally side by side. That and having the XBox sent out for repairs 3 times certainly didn't help. LOL I think the Wii has like 10 hours total logged on it.

Which is the funny part, if you ask any gamer no one cares about the wii. But in terms of success, the wii dominated by a huge margin this generation.

I guess there are more 8 years olds than real gamers.

Still on my first 360 (still going strong) and it was hit with the 3rod before.

Anyway I will very likely pick up the newest version of xbox. So I'll return later in hopes you guys keep this thread updated.

I really hope they discuss the rumors of the "always online" debacle. This will be the deal breaker on my buying the new console.

Same here. And I'll be getting the new Xbox over the PS4 more than likely too, unless of course there is some serious difference between the two that PS4 is doing better, but I think I'm going to continue with Xbox.

The only reason I have an xbox360 is for the halo series lol I did dump a lot of time into Forza and a few other titles but consels in general have lost their appeal to me. Thinking about just building a PC.

I have a ps3 but that's because there's a few games I want to play on it. The rest is on my PC since.. I don't need to put a car downpayment for a console that may have problems and needing repairs.

The service you get from Live is worth it. The few times I've played PSN I felt it was never quite up to par from what xbox has set. Sure PSN is free and that's cool from them, but if I can get a better premium online experience then that's what I'd do and I do it again.

Console wise, I try my best to just get one and take care of it. When I hear guys are constantly replacing or buying more than one console I can only think all that money that was thrown away (for car parts). Lucky for me I don't have that problem. I got other things to deal with.

I own both. They are the same. What are the premium features of the online experience you get? I guess PSN doesn't have auto drafting or prepayment as a feature. They also don't have auto renew, so I guess I see what you mean.

I have honestly never seen any difference in server speeds, or anything else between the two. It really comes down to free online gaming vs paid. The service provided is not different.

I do think the new xbox is superior to the new playstation based on the information we were given at the launches.

Who would have thought Microsoft would add blu ray after all that talk about downloadable content?

Forza 5 Reveal

It came down to connection/speed. I don't own a ps3 (I would for some exclusives) so that's all I can go on about it. It been a minute, so I wouldn't be surprised if psn has grown since the last time I was on it. What I like about Live is the clean interface, the apps (plenty of good ones), the arcade (old, new, indie games), and now the integration from live to my phone (if that counts).

Anyway I'm a little confused with xbox ONE atm. Been reading a bit and not sure if I agree with Microsoft's plan on their next console.

And this is what I believe you're paying for. I'm also expecting an INCREDIBLY HIGH cost for this system. Roughly 800-900 initial release.
