interesting. Have you had it in the car driving in the sun yet? Any reflection to the window?

No I just finished puting it together but ill let you if the sun reflects , ya it does look like the Mach 5

wont it unbalance (color wise) the dash?

Ya it unbalances the dash but I'm Also doing the dash trim and maybe speaker covers

sorry to say but itll probably fade to pink.

I would have a huge headache if I was looking out over that color all the time. Looks like you did a great job though!

its Marine grade vinyl it has a 12 year warranty

i went for a drive this morning and the steering wheels blocks the whole piece but ill take a couple of Advil's just in case :thumbsup:

If you are going for a full Mach 5 or JDM it will prolly all come together. But alone it's just to much red.

hmm... I should do mine in black leather. There's some reflections on sunny days.

My old man has a shop in Miami but he only does speed boats hes sending me a couple yards of black Alcantara

I was going to do my pieces in black leather at first but for sum reason I went with the brighter choice

Just seems a lil over board to me. It's gonna be real hard to make everything come together with so much surface area covered in one bright color.

Easy mod, adds character. Not for everyone, or myself, but not bad!
I would possibly think of doing more trim pieces, i.e door handles, bezels around air vents and what not. The more trim you do, I would think the less pop in all that black you'll have.

I remember there were dashboard cloth/carpet covers when I used to own a sun fire gt....

Reduced glare and greenhouse effect, and looked custom too. Wonder if they make such a piece for frs and BRZ.

don't listen to the others. I personally hate the color red but if you like it, go for it.
