FA20CLUB Ultimate FR-S/BRZ Gauge Integration

Just wanted to share with your our soon to be released Exclusive Gauge that we have been working with P3Cars on developing and testing. After weeks of testing and molding we are nearing completion. The gauge is the most inclusive you can get on the market for this platform. No longer will you have to buy custom single pods or install into areas that cant be viewed very easily in your car. This gauge comes with integration to the OBD2 port so all the major factory sensors can be monitored. Here are some of the solid features of the gauge:

GROUP BUY PRICE $339.00 GAUGE ONLY $354 W/SILVER TRIM (TRIM CAN BE REUSED FROM YOUR ORIGINAL VENT)

NEW RELEASE DATE HAS BEEN SET FOR 6/14/13 CONSIDERING IT WAS ORIGINALLY JULY 1ST I THINK THE FEEDBACK FROM THIS GROUP MADE THEM GET IN GEAR.

YOU CAN PLACE YOUR ORDER HERE: http://www.fa20club.com/product.php?...cat=276&page=1
  • READ/CLEAR DIAGNOSTIC CODES
  • PERFORMANCE TIMERS 0-60 60-120 ETC
  • BOOST/VACUUM READINGS
  • MAJOR SENSOR READINGS: COOLANT, AIR TEMPS, ETC
  • X3 ANALOG INPUTS FOR EXTERNAL SENSORS: OIL PRESSURE OR 0-5V
  • REALTIME DATASTREAMING
  • SHIFT LIGHT
  • BOOST WARNING(EXCEEDING MAX BOOST)

We do have the final Beta unit en route for final testing but as it is right now these gauges will be available for sale on July first. We just wanted to keep you guys aware of what we have coming down the pipeline. Retail price will be $380.00 including the vent. Initially we intend to offer a discounted price to kick off sales and will most like be offering a Group Buy when the release date comes closer.

Looks great. Some questions if I may:

- Will there be both LHD and RHD versions?
- Can you configure custom OBD PID's (e.g. to monitor oil temp)
- Does it support night-time dimming?

Thanks!

ATL BRZ 05-17-2013 10:32 AM

Very cool (literally since the A/C will pass through it)!

Looks like n/a guys can benefit from this too, with all the data available to display supplemental to boost/vac.

I will contact P3 to see if they would tool up a RHD version if there is enough interest.

Nice!

2forme 05-17-2013 12:08 PM

Will these be able to pass through the OBD2 connection for those of us with monitoring systems already set up?

Frs300 05-17-2013 12:18 PM

@FA20Club.com throw the beta on my car and i will test it

ngabdala 05-17-2013 12:32 PM

if you are referring to the torque app i would consider this to make the torque app obsolete. but you can always purchase the y-adapter we will be releasing along with the a gauge to keep both running simultaneously. i have no idea if their will be a delay on logging speed though with 2 items connected at once.

pheoxs 05-17-2013 12:47 PM

Do you have one that'll work as a wide band with an external o2 sensor? Or is it just limited to OBD data

I don't know if I would call it obsolete. You have more options with Torque such as logging, graphing, 1/4 timing, gauge customization, min/max customization, video recording with parameters, etc.

I mean, this seems like a great solution for those on iPhones or people who want a quick drop in dual gauge solution. Hell, I might even pick it up to assist the Torque app on my head unit. Thus why I asked :).

Im so in on one of these.

Tony-
Any idea what the Y-adapter will cost? I agree with @2forme . It's nice to have an external OBD2 device connected when I'm wanting to log temps in Harry's LapTimer, or via DashCommand, or Torque, etc... This gauge is very intriguing, ONLY if I can still utilize my existing OBD device simultaneously.

you can grab a innovate inline wideband controller and sensor and run the 0-5v output to the gauge , Yes. or any other wideband controller with 0-5v output will work. there are a few options out there that dont function with a gauge that can be integrated.

Yea, same here. That's why I use the stereo for Torque. :)

FA20Club.com 05-17-2013 01:38 PM

no idea on dimming ill let you know when the new beta gets here. as far as custom pids goes, no. if you have a request for a specific pid that will be popular beyond the normal ones then lets us know and ill work on getting it added but oil temp is already on the list....

Calum 05-17-2013 01:44 PM

If a gauge can be packaged this small and still be highly visible, why doesn't anyone make a single din digital gauge cluster with A/F, Boost, and Oil Pressure. I've seen the analog ones, and their not bad, but the gauges are small which makes them hard to read at a glance.

pheoxs 05-17-2013 01:46 PM

Is there any concern for heat from the vent? I'm thinking middle of winter heater cranked blowing right on the gauge

FA20Club.com 05-17-2013 01:52 PM

no, the electronics are safe. these gauges have been integrated into hvac systems for years now.

Acree 05-17-2013 02:08 PM

Beautifully done and very well executed!

kioton32 05-17-2013 05:41 PM

I'm putting a boost gauge in my vent so this is a no-go for me...

oTaGGeDo 05-17-2013 06:10 PM

Huh I'm NA but I am def interested in picking one of these up! Can't wait for the GB I ole this is a simple plug and play design directly to OBD and that's it

SmsAlSuwaidi 05-17-2013 07:31 PM

so this is exactly like the http://www.scangauge.com/products/scangaugeii/ correct ?

Frs300 05-17-2013 07:37 PM

@FA20Club.com save me one :)

jamesm 05-17-2013 07:40 PM

That's awesome. Put me down for one.

kmbkk 05-17-2013 09:50 PM

Not sure if I missed it, but how many different pieces of data can it display at the same time?

troek 05-17-2013 10:06 PM

add 1 for interest in a RHD model.

s2d4 05-17-2013 11:28 PM
