Hi everyone from Japan, Im from Fremantle Western Australia....

Im going to Japan for 2 wks in late November 2012.... I know no one there... I want to stay in Saitama and travel to Gunma....

I really hope i there is some serious car enthusiast like myself who i can meet on my travels....

If anyone can lead me in the right direction as to where to go i would be very grateful..

Also if there is any car shows anywhere in Japan between the 15th and 30th of November please PM me and let me know......

Up until this last May, I lived in Nakano-ku, Tokyo. Miss it terribly, and want to move back sometime in the future. 日本が大好き！！！

Lived in Kanagawa for 3 years, great place, hoping to move back in the near future!

Lived in Koshigaya, Saitama but worked and spent most of my time in Tokyo.
Now I'm back in America but return to Japan every year for a few weeks.
I hope to one day more back, but don't want to teach English :) I also would want to bring my USDM car over with me now haha.

I'm going to be back in Tokyo, then Sendai in October this year.

I used to live in Tokyo for 7 years. I miss it so much. Now i'm back working at Vivid Racing.

That's awesome. I bought almost all of the parts for my 2003 WRX from Vivid back in 2003-2004. That was a fun car for sure!

I don't know if forums are popular with cars in japan. I see more blogs than anything. but that's just my take. theres also a lot smaller DIY crowd here.

Ugh! Yesterday I went to Netz Toyota and they could have ordered the center wheel caps for 350 yen each.... but unfortunately I won't be in town to pick them up and they don't open late enough for me to pick them up on my way to the airport next Sunday.

So yeah, I guess I'll just go another route, because I refuse to pay some Nigerian $80 for $15 in parts back home.. lol

I'm in the Air Force and live just west of Tokyo. Not a owner of a 86 yet but was looking to buy one when I get back to the states in a year.

you can only import cars 25 years or older to drive on the street. I will be importing my 1989 Nissan Skyline instead
