Any 805'ers here?
 

It's odd being in the limbo between NorCal and SoCal here on the forum so I figured I would check and see if there are any other 805 area code folks around here. Im in San Luis Obispo, wondering if anyone else wants to meet up for drives or anything. Thanks

Yo, Ventura County here. Camarillo to be specific... Seems like the nearest "86" club is the OC or valley =(.

I'm always up for meeting up and doing some drives.

Sounds good guys. I saw a whiteout FRS today and an Argento FRS the other day on Prefumo Canyon. There's a few of us around here. Ill check the Ventura County Meet.

Nice. I'm from SB, living in WA. My gf goes to cal poly in SLO. I'd be down but prob won't be down there anytime soon :(

Ill be here all summer and next year as well. Graduating either Winter or Spring quarter of next year.

Another 805'er here. Santa Paula to be exact. Saw a white out in town a few weeks ago and parked next to an asphalt at the Thousand Oaks mall on Sunday. Other than that, those are the only ones I've seen around.

I keep seeing a white BRZ here in Camarillo... But I don't see him on the forums. He's had it for about a year now if i'm correct. Just a cpl months longer then me.

yea but think how nice of a drive that would be for you and your car. I use to drive the 101 alot heading towards Santa cruz every summer.

I'm down for a sunday due to work monday through saturday. Or a meet anytime after 6pm any day.

Highway 33 isn't much fun from Ventura to Ojai. It does get very interesting and entertaining between Ojai and Lockwood Valley, for an out-and-back cruise (with not much to choose from in the way of a coffee shop or whatever on the northern end). A full loop using CA-33 can be done by connecting to CA-166 into Santa Maria, maybe even including a 'detour' along CA-1 as part of the return, but that's a drive of more than 200 miles. We're up for that - at least once!

In the other Ventura area thread, I've posted that we will try out a shorter drive from Carpinteria (just southeast of Santa Barbara) following CA-150 all the way to Santa Paula this Sunday morning (5/26). Everyone is invited and more than welcome to meet and drive with (or way ahead of?) us. We hope to see a few more GT86ers at least somewhere along the way.

Am an UCSB alum so the 805 always has spot in my heart. Maybe you all can head down to a track sometime and we can all kick it.

I bought my car last year on July so i think im the first one with hot lava in town since then i only saw 2 hot lava =)... since you live here lets meet sometimes if you free

805'er here. Technically I'm closer to LA now but the drive back to SLO on the 178 is always fun.

Those views from Grant Park are about as good as it gets, and zooming back down Brakey Road makes it fairly obvious how it may have earned its name. :w00t: It might be a little tricky to provide directions to and from the park for navigationally challenged non-residents, and a bit of discretion is advised to avoid attracting unwanted attention from local law enforcement. :paddle:
