Enkei PF01 (NO ONE) doing staggered 18x8.5 / 18x 9.5"??

Looked in the directory, well every where bit puzzled NO ONE has done a staggered setup of this wheel yet on a FR-S/BRZ?? If you have come out of the wood work and show us what it looks like!!!

Im planning to get ENKEI RP03 in 18x9.5 so to fit 245 width rear tires.

Im pretty sure PF01 should have 18x9.5

Checked their website: PF01 has sizes from 15x8 to 18x10.5

http://www.enkei.com/pf01.html#

TRD_86 05-11-2013 04:35 AM

This is one of good looking enkei wheel.

OICU812 05-11-2013 06:03 AM

What is staggered?

OICU812 05-11-2013 06:47 AM

Staggered = wider wheels on back.

Example front of say 18"x8.5" and back 18"x9.5"

Offsets vary depending on manufacturer of wheels

gavinhusni 05-11-2013 06:47 AM

Yeah i have seen heaps of people here in Australia do that. 18x8.5 at front to fit 225/40/18 and 18x9.5 at rear to fit 255/35/18

OICU812 05-11-2013 06:54 AM

Cool just want to see pics with wheel discussed of just that to see how it looks

Cool!

Make a photobucket acct, it's free then upload to PB the tag image here! Excited to see your wheels! Please include what your offset is with straight on side shots to view where wheel edge is. :)

I want to do exactly those sizes with 38 or 40 offset in the rear and 35 upfront. But don't know what wheel manufacturers make those offsets. I also plan on putting 245/35 up front and 265/35 in the rear. If enkei has those offsets, I'd love to go with their wheel.

245 at front and 265 at rear is overkill for our kind of cars.

KAR 05-11-2013 09:44 AM

What offset do they have.. Want to go +35 front and back

I think it looks awesome actually! I like the wider stance and beefy look.

With this offset they likely won't fit. Even with 45 they will be a tight fit.

For this car 225 is likely optimal, 235 is the widest which makes sense from driving feel standpoint.

225 is optimal at front, 245 is optimal at rear. 245 at front and 265 at rear will change the handling characteristic way too much... for the worse. Plus there isnt even enough power to need that much traction from 265 tires. There will be traction limitations.

'fit' is a relative term. its gonna depend wildly on what size tires, drop/camber among other things

I assume tire diameter equal stock and keeping alignment stock too.

OICU812 05-11-2013 07:54 PM

My current RT5s I run 225/40 on front 8.5" wheels and 255/35 on 9.5" wide rear wheels. Looking forward to installed pics of one on the lift.

gavinhusni 05-12-2013 03:16 AM

Hmmm I honestly thought there would be more dish, or some concave with the wider width on these wheels. Still look good though thanks for your time!!

Gavin..what offset are these front and back? You're lowered to, by how much?

CSI:86 05-12-2013 04:48 AM

ALL THESE PHOTOS ARE KILLING ME! i want to get my enkei RP03 so bad!

9.5" is too wide for 235 tires. You could do better with 8.5 or even 8" wheels.

I use 17x8 PF01 with 235-40 rubber and do not feel I need anything wider.

KAR 05-12-2013 04:28 PM

really, I beg to differ... Im going to run 255 for the 9.5 and 235 for the 8.5 on the fronts..+35 front and back in black please

I thought people are buying this car for its ride qualities. There are many cars that look better even in stock form.

? That cost around the same? Haven't seen one myself, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I see more Camaros "transformer" cars then anything, they're a ton more and to me look like a complete piece of crap no matter what ya put on it.

Scaldy 05-13-2013 01:06 AM

I wonder how these compare to the Work Emotions for weight? Similar look and specs otherwise. Probably a good price difference.

The Enkei racing series is almost half the cost and lighter than some of those few over price brands like Work Emotion, Rays ...

OICU812 05-13-2013 10:18 PM

They do look good and thanks for those that have shared pictures. Only thing suprised me and bit of a let down was hoping the wider choices would have some concave look to them. There's no difference face wise from a 7.5 to 9.5 inch?

KAR 05-13-2013 10:25 PM

235 on a 9.5 is only stretch just a tad bit.. does not look like those herra frush cars, and I road coarse with these set up..

TRD_86 05-18-2013 08:57 PM

Do they make center cap to fit for this wheel?

avp1 05-19-2013 11:03 PM

They do. I got wheels from Tirerack and they sent centering rings, caps and custom lug nuts along with wheels. All matched.

Are you getting a hub conversion or getting a custom PCD? The RP03s only come in 5x114.3 in those sizes.
