lol I live in Fremont and attend meets in Fremont/Union city and Dublin all the time.

What's the "risk of driving into the Fremont area"?

Lol at the driving over the hill part. But I may attend as I get off at Dublin Bart

I think the biggest risk in Fremont is the ***hole cops who crack down on anyone with mods.

Exactly, Fremont PD use to have bets in the department on how many Imports they can catch.

I'm older now, so I don't take the risk or go looking for drama.

Anyways, everyone is welcome to come hang out.. very laid back, no drama.. Just good people, cool cars.

years ago (at least 10) I parked my '97 eclipse in front of my friends house on sundance (off paseo padre), chilled inside his house for a few hours. When I came out to get my car, as soon as I started it, 2 cop cars came to block me and asked me to pop my hood.. yeah I still remember that til this day :)

I just came back on a vacation from philippines, I missed my car ! she needs a wash and definitely a Meet-N-Greet on a Friday. BEAST MODE !

Uhhh... no it isn't.

I've got 28K miles on my FR-S and TONS of those miles are from San Jose to Fremont. I even got a Fremont PD to sign off a no front plate ticket and I didn't have the front plate on the car. However Fremont used to be, it isn't now.

Plus one of the biggest douchebag import meets in The Bay is in Fremont and that's been going for a while with zero issue (other than the hard-parkers).

I'm not sure I'm gonna go alllll the way up to Dublin tonight, just swapped wheel/tires for AutoX tomorrow.
