Anyone?

I'm not a Korean, but I know how to read and write.

First phrase says, "it's already been a few days..."

And second phrase reads, "reality"

Hope that helped.

There a app that translation in real time forgot what's called :/

jkonquer 05-09-2013 03:53 PM

Yeah first word translates as "been few days" or more literal translation will be "already few days"
Second word can be tranlated both "truth" or "reality"

Google translate says: "Happiness was a luxury for me." Don't quote me on accuracy, I just typed and hit enter.

jkonquer 05-13-2013 11:13 AM

I'm thinking it means "happiness was fake/lie/con for me."

infinite012 05-13-2013 11:15 AM

First 3 characters = "happiness was"
Second 2 characters = "my"
Last set of 4 characters = something I don't understand. But it's probably what xn7485 said it is.

Edit: I just asked my wife (Korean - born and raised there, so I trust her :)) what it could mean and she said "Love/happiness was wasted on me."

bakerr6 05-13-2013 11:54 AM

now if only people could translate english as well

this means pretty much like what you said. "Well done today as well"

Here is a scenario.

You're helping a lady with a favor. Since it's 오늘도, it means "again today". So it's like you've been helping her for few days. Then at the end of the day, she says 오늘도 수고했어요. This can mean several things, but all mean the same purpose.

- Thank you so much for helping me today again.
- You have done very well for the day again.
- I appreciate your help today again.

Also to mention. It ends with 요, which is more polite than just 수고했어. 수고했어 is more suitable to close friend and younger crowd. Never say that to elders.

Hope this helps.
