Air Freshener

Anyone know how to make your own air freshener? I really like Chemical guys stripper scent, but i don't want to spray it every 3 days. Any way i can put it in something to place inside my car to make it last a month or so?

If this is in the wrong section feel free to move it, mods.

Step 1: Park a car in the desert
Step 2: unwrap a pack of bacon on a baking sheet.
Step 3: leave it for 5 hours.

After, the installation is complete, enjoy delicious bacon and new scent that will last weeks.

I would recommend using gel based air fresheners. They last for a month or so. I donno if you can get ur hands on this but I use Auto|expressions "ultra gel". It comes in a lot of different flavor smells.

just ask pretty girls to sit in your car often, then your car will always smell nice.

All those scents/solutions wane so fast, I hardly bother.

Personally I put a dryer sheet under the passenger floor mat. Would work well on the cabin filter too....or get one of those house air-filter-air-fresheners and put that on your cabin filter.

Scentsy travel tins. They have some manly non-feminine smells and are only like $5.

I think you guys missed what i was trying to say. I wanted to know if someone had any DIY on how i can put this air freshener into a container or something so i can leave it in my car so the smell will last longer than 2 days. It seems like the ones that come in bottles smell better, tried the cx3 and didn't like it.

Maybe get a sponge and cut it to size and soak it. Put it inside a container for a slow release. Put multiple sponges around your car (trunk, rear seat, glove compartment, under front seats, etc). Or you can soak your cabin filter in that stuff.

Otherwise, I like the pine tree car fresheners, vanilla aroma. I leave the old ones in the car to keep the scent going. Once they get really old, I toss them.

I bought this stuff from my local grocery store haha, it's in a spray bottle, and its called "Car Cologne." There are 3 different scents and they last for atleast 3-5 days if you spray a ton of it before you get out of your car. (Parked with windows up)

I googled hard, but i didn't see this. It is interesting, but all i really wanted was an air freshener that i could just pour out the current liquid and pour in my own. I did find one, but the old smell was nearly impossible to get out and it didn't come with a clip for the A/C vent like its suppose to :iono:
