Long story short. Car was hail damage the day before lip kit was supposed to be painted and installed. Decided to add a few more accessories while adding a blue pearl clear coat to the argento silver base. Funny thing is I wanted this done before Scion announced the Limited 10 Series Ignition Silver color. But mine is more subtle than the upcoming version.

I will get a photoshoot done soon hopefully to show the awesome pearl in the right light but these iphone pictures will have to do for now. New wheels coming soon.

Originally ordered a Seibon DV hood from @eauto and the fitment was horrible. Vendor then referred me to Seibon directly. They tried to make me wait weeks for a replacement but I needed to paint it along with the car. Tried to convince me use hood pins which I absolutely refused. Tried running me through hoops and all I wanted was a better replacement or a refund.

I am going through a dispute chargeback with my credit card company. Horrible customer service.

Directly ordered a VIS AMS style hood and they were fantastic in customer service. Got my hood expedited at a great price too. FUCK SEIBON. I will loudcap their horrible company.

Will update later with details with pics of horrible seibon fitment after work.

Im getting a really strang 350z vibe from this...mabey its the silver...IDK.

Clipdat 05-02-2013 02:39 PM

Pretty nice look. Great wheels. Euro GT86 headlights would really set it off and take it to another level, imo!

SkAsphalt 05-02-2013 02:50 PM

you get a big "WOW" from me.

Razz 05-02-2013 03:38 PM

Ja, I opened up this thread think another dumb story.

WOW! very good!

The gap is a little big on the front but the sides of the hood look great.

Your car actually looks cool.

I like what you did to the side too!

Aught to see the car in person. Next to our cars it really stood out in a good way. Love your car bud! We need to get the whole group together and get some proper pics.

Sure thing I had promised to but got held up by the super bowl Mardi gras and then hail! Fitment was spot on!

The diffuser ties in amazingly well with the rear quarter body parts looks really good. I also like the hood minus the very back two vents. Very cool indeed!!!

Those two extra vents are just a little extra manliness.

R2RO 06-11-2013 03:17 AM

love the painted under diffusor

velin86 06-11-2013 03:45 PM

Does the hood not fit perfectly? It look sexy as hell but the gap on the left would bug me.

Actually I'm missing the headlight bracket when it cracked during a drift event and the bumper is the reason theres a gap. Waiting on the new bracket to be installed soon.

Ah so thats why it has the gap. Ok cool because I really like that hood =)

Turbowned 06-12-2013 04:32 PM

Looks incredible! I like the painted diffuser; might hafta do something similar on my car

OICU812 06-26-2013 05:09 AM

Honest question on your hood....

Do you find that your engine bay now is always dirty having the vented hood? How about by design keeping water out in general while moving stay clean and dry decent?

Every time I see your car with this hood I pop a Chubb I really like the edgey look this hood adds to the car.

Nothing 06-26-2013 06:22 AM

Do you have some shots of the hood from the door going forward? I'd like to see how the vents line up with the engine bay and turbo applications. Thanks!

Meehow86 06-26-2013 04:31 PM

LOVE IT!!

fujiwara_tofu 07-04-2013 02:10 AM
