Zeta Performance - Valenti Rear Bumper Reverse/Backup LED Light w/ pictures! 4 MODELS
 

Here are some picture of the Valenti rear bumper reverse/backup LED lights!
We are the 1st vendor who tested out all the model side by side!

4 models available:
- Red / Chrome
- Clear / Chrome
- Clear / Red
- Black / Chrome

We tested these out individually, shown in different stage:
- Off
- Reverse/Backup Light On
- Parking/Brake Light On
- Reverse/Backup + Parking/Brake Lights On

For the red light section, you can actually set them to turn on with different setting, depending on how you setup the wires:
- Parking Light
- Brake Light
- Parking Light w/ Brake Light (Flashes 5 times when step on the brake every time)

We tested them here in the States, on our US Spec FR-S/BRZ, to ensure the fitment, as well as the functions.
These will be shipping out from our U.S. warehouse, not from oversea.
We're proving it with pictures of these on our car, not just the picture of the item out of the box.
We're the specialist when it comes to FR-S/BRZ!

Would it be possible to make the "V" shaped bar come on with the parking lights and the "LED Triangle" come on when you hit the brake? That would make it match the tails perfect!

It's not possible at this moment, as both the "V" shaped bar and the "triangle" are on the same wire, unless you want to open up the housing and modify it. That's also my idea as well, but haven't look into it yet.

Paid! Can't wait to see the set together, I have not seen the smoked set on the same car yet!

You would need to tap one or two wires to your left taillight harness, depending on the function that you want on the red "v" bar and the triangle section. Our kit will come pre-modified, so just tap the wire and plug in.

I have a similar question. I don't want the Triangle to come on unless you hit the brakes. At other times, I'd like only the V-shaped bar to be lit. Is that possible? I'm a bit confused because Zeta says "For the red light section, you can actually set them to turn on with different setting, depending on how you setup the wires". Unfortunately the "V" and the triangle are hard-wired together. Your four options are:

1) both light up with your headlights/taillights
2) both light up with heads/tails but adds 5 flashes when you brake
3) both only light up with brakes regardless of heads/tails (this is what I did)
4) both only light up with brakes regardless of heads/tails but adds 5 flashes when you brake

Zeta gives you instructions for each option. One of them was described wrong when i got my set, but since i was one of the first to get them, that's expected, but i got it done and alerted Zeta to the error. So as i understand it, its all correct now and it's really easy. Took me 20 minutes.

To get the V and the triangle to light up separately, you'd have to open it up and slightly fix the wiring inside. You'll have to unsolder the wire (or just cut it) that connects the V and the triangle, then move the wire from the flasher function and solder it to the triangle.

So short answer is it's definitely possible, but will require soldering.

Thanks for the advice guys. It sounds like too much trouble for me, at least for now. I've seen a video where they functioned separately...maybe in an earlier version they weren't hard-wired together or someone took the time to mod it.
