I would appreciate it, I will only make one if its an FRS

ahausheer 01-26-2012 07:32 PM

Don't print it, the very first models off the assembly line are plagued with problems. Who knows, the glue might not hold, fold lines might be wrong, etc etc. Better wait a year to get all the kinks ironed out.

Argent6978 01-26-2012 10:18 PM

All done. I think I did all right. :) Think uploading it shrank it down though, so if you guys want the full-size version, might help me find someplace to post it up at full-size.

It's okay we can just shove it back into the printer for a recall

MF_DEUCE 01-27-2012 05:03 PM

OMG! if anyone plans on making one of these, don't print it out in normal letter page size. It's too small and should be printed on a tabloid page size. lol

PS- theres no instructions! -___-

ichitaka05 01-27-2012 05:26 PM

LOL that's creative!

The video works as instructions.

I gave up on mine because I need an exacto knife to do such small cuts!

Ithey're not really precise Instructions. There are certain areas that you have the cut and bend but it doesnt show which side they cut or bent (ex: the frot and rear bumpers). I got it done but my hands are too big and the scissors i have made it difficult to cut in those small spots.

MannyO 01-27-2012 06:37 PM

Having an X-ACTO made it so much easier to cut everything. I made the black 86 on letter size but didn't remember to take any pics of it before I left work.

oh and Thanks Fox!

Brett 01-27-2012 07:39 PM

This is the coolest thing I've seen all week. Awesome!

Brett

OrbitalEllipses 01-27-2012 08:35 PM

I built a BRZ. Just be intuitive about what you cut/fold. Not too difficult.

Step 1: Cut out pieces
Step 2: Fold pieces
Step 3: Glue together

:D

That is pretty cool.

Definitely print this on tabloid (11x17) if you can. Letter sized makes some of the tiny folds extremely difficult to do accurately. The result from a letter-sized paper is small... very small.

Looks like a grade schooler made it... but here's a blue one.

Your rear tire is flat. :(

And your front tire has some shards of white glass.

lol

M-17 01-28-2012 09:30 PM

Ha that's sweet, I think I'm going to use the big ass printer I barely use for this.

Yep, I need to get me some glue. I printed my photoshopped FR-S papermodel on glossy photo paper, should look cool when I get it done though. :) Got my X-Acto knife all ready to cut the thing out.

Snoopyalien24 01-29-2012 11:54 PM

Hmm, Maybe I'll do this, and shop some different wheels, and blacked out light housings. Also, maybe a different place.

MannyO 01-30-2012 10:31 AM

Still needs more glue but here's mine.
