SF Caravan to Livermore 4/27
 

Dedicated thread for a caravan from San Francisco to the bbq/drive/meet in Livermore on Saturday 4/27. Not sure how many of us there will be, but if you're interested either PM me your location in the city or post here so we can figure out the best location.

It'll take us an hour to get there, so let's plan on meeting up at 8am.

Also, will we be meeting at Westlake? Or is that not a for sure thing yet?

I'm still working out the details of that weekend, hoping to make it to the meet. If I do, I'll meet up with you guys to caravan.

Sounds good, hopefully you can make it to the meet! We need your photog skills for the group pics! I didn't even realize you were in SF, just assumed you're down in Santa Cruz.

I'm coming from San Rafael in Marin county. Is there a possibility of meeting somewhere in San Francisco?

If not then I'll just meet you at the Starbucks. It's only about 40 minutes away from me but I'm afraid there might be morning traffic going south on 101.

Is there morning traffic on Saturdays? I didn't think so, but maybe you would know better for your area. As far as meeting up in SF, there aren't really any convenient spots right off the freeway that I can think of (unless you can suggest something), so for now it's Daly City.

Thanks but I just realized that I need to go over the Richmond Bridge to get there so I'll just see you at the event.

Unless I'm missing something I don't think we'll be driving through Fremont? That's kind of out of the way of the route from Daly City to Livermore

Honestly i have no clue. I havent even have time to check the map. Lol. Last time we went on the saturday drive i went there thru san mateo brigde

Well the quickest way there is the bay bridge, and that's the most direct route. Fremont is definitely out of the way, even if we take the San Mateo bridge we'll still have to go out of our way to head south to Fremont

That's what I thought. All these caravan threads look the same anyway haha. And my first post was even copied on one of the other caravan threads!

Just the default Google maps directions from Westlake Center to Livermore. We'll be passing through CV on 580, so we could definitely meet up if you guys want to. Though judging from ^ 86_ZN6 ^, maybe we should stick to small, staggered caravans so we don't have one huge line trying to check in at once. :iono:

Yeah, I'm down with that. We'll be going crazy from all the caffeine though! :eyebulge:

Perfect! We guys are meeting at 8am. Looks like we should be starting by 830am. This will take us 35 minutes (According to google). So on the safe side, lets put 45 mins. Thats brings the caravan to reach the proposed destination by 915am.

I think you guys will reach in the same time frame.

I'm going to PM you my contact information for morning communications ( Just in Case). Alfie also has my number.

I think I'm actually going to pass on this caravan. Daly City is sorta backtracking for me. Nevertheless, I'll just see you guys at the meet!
