FR-S Fog Light Kits for sale, Full Plug and Play
Finally an FR-S Fog light kit that is Plug and Play!!!
These kits Consist of OEM Parts. Kit includes: Right and Left Fog Light Bezels, 2 Glass lens H11 Fog lamps, Turn Signal Stalk with Fog Light Switch, Mounting hardware, JDM 86 type Wiring with legal operation of Fog Lamps When the fog lights are on there will be an indicator light on the dash letting you know they are on. This kit is a complete plug and play. No funny mess of aftermarket fog lamp wiring. Wired just as a Japanese Toyota 86. The Headlamp/turn signal stalk is not from a BRZ so it does not have the "AUTO" position that isn't operable on a FR-S. Here are some facts on this kit: You can only use it with 55W H11 bulbs. (55W max) The system works in a legal fashion only. The fog lights can only turn on with the headlamps on. They will turn off when you switch to high beam. If you want HID you will need a HID kit that has a relay harness to draw power directly from the battery. This is the only kit available that is as factory. Installation requires removal of the Airbag to install the headlamp/turn signal stalk. Rec. Installation by a professional ***As there is a limited supply of parts for this kit; we ask that you send back the turn signal harnesses that are replaced when installing this kit. Included in the kit package will be a small box to mail us back the turn signal harnesses. This is a USPS Flat rate box that can be dropped of at any post office*** This kit has no applicable Manufacturer Warranty Kit Price is $375.00 Please order from our web store at this link: http://ishiimotors.com/fr-s-fog-light-kit.html Please email or call us with any questions: info@141motors.com 425-450-0498 Installation Instructions I have uploaded the installation instructions online. They may be viewed at the following link: http://www.141motors.com/services/fr...structions.pdf ***Attention FR-S Series 10 owners*** I have just installed our kit into a Series 10. There is one difference in the kit. The Series 10 has "AUTO" headlamps. Therefore, I will offer a new kit that comes with the correct stalk which includes the "AUTO" position on the stalk. This will be available as a different Kit number on our web site shortly. I have already installed the "AUTO" Position Stalk into our Series 10 FR-S and everything operates perfectly. https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...75540878_o.jpg https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...42475713_n.jpg https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...89666536_n.jpg https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...73981530_n.jpg https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...10732367_n.jpg There will be a indicator on the dash when the fog lamps are on. https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...29283465_n.jpg https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...38414246_n.jpg |

Do you guys offer a discount for members?
Edit: Also, can we get more pictures of the harness included for the foglights? Is this a harness you put together or is this a factory harness? |

Any way you guys can do a discount? 385 is pricey. Anyone else agree? |
Agreed with @CamryDS. I can put this kit together and wire it myself for $250 easily. Unless this comes way down, I'll probably be doing it on my own. $130 isn't worth the convenience.

brz stalk $60
|
my question is about the harness -- I don't get how the harness is plug n play? anyone care to explain to this electrical wiring n00b?
|
im sure itll plug into the original turn signal and split off to feed the fog light and turn signal
|
I feel our price is exactly correct for the parts included and the amount of time it takes to put this kit together.
If someone could sell me this exact kit for the prices being talked about I would greatly appreciate to buy from you but it would have to include: Right and Left Fog Light Bezels, 2 Glass lens H11 Fog lamps, Turn Signal Stalk with Fog Light Switch, (the exact one I'm selling) Mounting hardware, JDM 86 type Wiring $160.00 is not possible not even close. Furthermore, this kit does not include the cheaper BRZ Stalk. This is a full functional kit that works exactly as stated. Plug and play. If you want cheaper, you'd need to come here to our shop. We will and have been selling this kit for $375.00 installed. I rather install them than package them and ship them out. Ishii |
Seems Like a good price to me for everything plus stalk
|
Any possibility of being able to purchase just the PNP-harness? (JDM 86 type Wiring)
|
where are the instructions to install I want to go over it before I decide to take the plunge

Disconnect Battery Remove Airbag and steering wheel. Remove Spiral cable Remove Wiper arm switch assy. Remove Turn signal switch assy. Install new turn signal switch assy. Reverse process for previous parts removed. (Follow all procedures from Toyota. If uncertain about airbag removal please have a professional install the switch) Remove clips holding lower panel in under the front turn signal (front corner of bumper under cover.) Peel down and back for access to inside bumper Unclip and carefully pull out original bezels Slide fog lights into the inside groove of the bumper from the inside of the bumper. (there is 2 slots in the bumper) Bolt the fog lamps on the outer edge. (it fits from behind, so when at the front of the vehicle the fog light mounts behind the bumper) Remove Turn signal harness from body harness and turn signal. Install new turn signal/fog light harness. Carefully push fog light bezels into the grooves (a little tricky because they can slide inside of the grooves) Switch fog lights on. Adjust level of fog lights. Re attach the under covers. Then go drive in some fog! :w00t: Ishii |
I think the thing that gets me the most is that you want our original turn stalks. I'm all for buying stuff -- even sometimes at a premium. What i'm not happy is that I have to send something back that i don't feel like I should.
Why are we to send you our Stalks back? this is the only unecessary part. Is there a kick back for us if we do? EDIT: to be honest, after reading the list of items and knowing that it's OEM -- (unsure of the harness) price is decent. OEM stuff is always way more expensive anyway. If you get another batch, i'm willing to buy after an explanation as to why we should send back our OEM stalks. |
+1 for pics of the harness. Sounds simple and prie is decent to me. Would be interested in when you have next shipment instock.
I think he asks for the stock harness, not the stalk. And then they will use that to make the harness for the fog lights. I just think so. Box and shipping label is included. So there is no reason why we cant ship them back. |

ordered my parts for 180, but i had to look around, nice kit
|
385 is a good deal considering this is 500 installed from factory. Ishii and his crew are great to work with also.
|
Very interesting, this beats nigels $500 kit or are they different?
|
Any chance for Group buy ?

is there a noticeable improvement on lighting at night?
|
This is a great kit. I had Steve and Cam install this on my car. The replacement stalk is great and makes it look like the car came with it from the factory. I had been debating if I should go with this kit or Nigels, and ended up with this one. Not one bit disappointed. Highly recommend this setup guys! Definitely worth the price, trust me!
And yes, so far there is a noticeable improvement in lighting at night, at least it seems like it to me. But I'm no pro. |
pictures of the harness? Is it oem toyota ?

The harnesses do not have any splices or solder joints. These are produced the correct way, definitely not a DIY product. I know many people want to replicate these so here is the difference why the harnesses we have are superior: 1. The wire for the fog lights are high quality (thick core with thin cover) (the core is thicker than the wire for the turn signal bulb) 2. They plug right in without a separate ground. 3. The ground is a direct connection without a splice. 4. Weather sealed 5. Exactly the right length Even the Screws and clips included in this kit are OEM. Full color instructions are sent by email. We spent a lot of time carefully planning this package kit for the FR-S. http://141motors.com/products/images/frs-h.jpg |

Would you be willing to sell the stalk and harness kit?

We have these parts all sorted into kits, so selling off any part creates an imbalance. This decision has been decided and will not change. Ishii |
Bout them yesterday and had Steve install them. Lighting is improved by a considerable margin, even though I have HID's. since everything is oem nothing feels out of place. Will post pics of the difference when I get home tonight.
|
Ishii, thanks for your R&D developing this kit.
Are the fog lights the Outback units mentioned in this post? If so, great! http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...light=foglight I'll be heading that way soon after my car arrives, figuring you'll have installed a set on your Series 10 and found any possible glitches. Do you do installs on Saturdays? If so, I'd time it to include an auto-x event up that way to show and tell...about the fog lights, not my driving ability. |
