Current car you drive and your age.
Hey all,
I thought it would be a fun idea to see what cars you guys drive and your age. Considering many of us may/may not be rolling in 86 in a few months :burnrubber: Let's get the ball rolling. Age:22 Honda ep3r JDM Stock as a rock. |
age:24
2003 WRX, modified enough to scare the hell outta me |
Ive always wondered if insurance a ripp of in the USA for sports cars?
I'm paying $1180 per year.For full comprehensive. |
i used to have a FL EP3 too. sold it in April 11 and bought an Odyssey.
so i currently have an Odyssey (lowered with 19s) and a Golf GTI (pretty much stock). will sell the GTI for the 86 sometimes in the next 18 months. btw i'm 35. |
34 - currents rides are AE86, HZJ105 Land Cruiser and a 2007 Lancer.
|
Age = 29. I drive a 2004 Toyota Solara ''sport'', V6, purchased used. Its nice but not sporty at all.

Cool. For some reason the oddesy looks really nice when modified tastefully. And it has the k24a engine :respekt: |

yeah K24 but with a 1600kg body it's slow but a pretty comfy cruiser. since it's not fast i only bothered with comestic changes. can't wait to get back into a manual car... |
28, BMW X5 sport, JZZ31 Soarer & JZZ12 Soarer
86 will replace JZZ31 :) |
Age: 21
Car: Mazda 323 Sports Edition (aka SP20).. Hopefully BRZ Limited in future :D |
82 Corolla AE70 2 door notchback/hardtop
mods being 4age 5spd in place of 3au auto. Has done me proud through my uni days but with a job and steady income an 86 would be a natural upgrade plus AE70s are going for stupid money these days so could go some way towards paying for it (the deposit, that is ). |

35 here. Yes I'm old. I drive a 99 WRX. Love the car but I want something new and more compact. I'm starting to care less about making big power. Even though I wouldnt mind having a BRZ with forced induction. I'll either get the BRZ in June or torture myself even longer and get the 2013 WRX STI.
|
hi everyone, first post on this forum.
31 here, from EP3R -> EVO 9 -> 350z -> Lancer Ralliart (current ride) + CIVIC sedan (current ride) i was thinking to just keep one car, that's why i sold the Z. But i've changed my mind again. i will either get a 370 or FT86 as for my joy ride in few months. |
20. 1998 240sx SE/1993 240sx/2009 Kawi Ninja/2011 Mazda3/2012 TC. Just finished getting rid othe last parts from the S14 a little while ago.

Hi ya all, aging at 31 , from 02 Mark II > 05 Mazda SP20 > 95 Sunny(Current Ride) + 07 Rav Ltd
Was going to buy a Toyota Blade 6 months ago until i read about the 86.. So holding on to grab a GT 86 now most probably would hold off till mid next year since want to get the supercharged version(if rumors are true) , if not then going for the Top of the range GT 86 with TRD Kitted (provided the price is right) |
48. Bought MR2 new in 1991. Sold in 1998.
Bought new ITR in 1998. Fourteen years later, ready for something new.:burnrubber: |
26. I have an 02 RSX that I got new 10 years ago. It's been great but it's time for something new. Hopefully an FR-S if the price is right.
|
33, BMW E36 316i compact, I don't care about ridiculous power, only the funness of the drive, of which my car has bucketloads. being a 1995 model though, she's getting on in years, and not wanting to move away from the RWD small car setup, the 86 is the best choice. it'll probably be late 2013 before I make the plunge, so hopefully by that time there will be some good deals floating around, or some second hand models. I really want to buy a new one though. Dark Grey 86 with the TRD exhaust :)
|
Good luck to all the guys who can afford a 86 :)
Hopefully we get a $35-$39 price here in oz. |

Currently driving an '05 XR6 Turbo
Car before that was a 1989 Mazda 323 'Shades Edition' :P Before that was a '95 R33 GTS-T mildly modified for 207rwkw Before that was a '98 Magna So yeah, lots of different cars lol. But you know what? I regret selling the Mazda. It was such a tiny, fun car to chuck around and despite it's complete lack of power I miss it. Hence a BRZ/86 will bring back that fun and then some, while having at least twice the power of the Mazda lol. EDIT: I am 24. |

Regostration $650 Stamp duty ect About $3k extra. |
24, drive rx8, insurance is 1200~/pa
Love the car Hopefully the 86 will be parked next to it soon :) Lobo I used to have a 323 astina (96) |
I'm 22.
I have been driving a Peugeot 206 GTi for the past four years. It's such fun to drive! Just recently though I have come into possession of an Alfa Romeo MiTo 155. Similar to the Peugeot, it's a fun FWD hot (warm?) hatch, but it is slightly goobey at the front. I think everyone has to have a Japanese sports car once in their lives though :P |
25. 1997 180SX type X, with exhaust, pod, BOV, manifold, boost controller, 18x8/9s and a snug fitting bride seat.
|
I'm 19, currently driving a 02 Mazda 6. Soon to be driving my love, the Toyota Supra MKIV ;) I also drive a Mazda CX-9 from time to time. Pretty good for a SUV type
|
'98 Celica - cause it was cheap and I was poor.
Would have baught a Supra since then, but it damn-near impossible to find one that hasnt been ruined by some jerk whos seen "The Fast and the Furious" too many times. Oh and I'm 27. |
30yo
2000 Celica ZR (Daily) 1995 S14 Zenki (Grip pig) I just bought the S14, so now I won't be replacing the Celica with an 86, ...well not for a couple more years anyway. |
Heaps of people born in the 80s here. Seems the mean age group comes from a DOB from mid to late 80s.
|
24 yo
corolla is my daily(but that's soon to change need a replacement before march) and my 2002 toyota jzx110 mkII fortuna yamaha powered(fuck everytime i have to say the name of that car i feel like a douche) |

i mean this is going to be the only sporty car of its kind at the price its going to be at so its a viable option for a lot of young enthusiasts. |

to the point where i've now bought myself a second car(used) and am going to have to wait acouple more years to own this one, most probably second hand... |
